We are SO excited to announce that @kylie_barney is officially joining our coaching staff for comp season! ✨

Kylie has already contributed so much to our program in such a short time, and we feel so lucky to have her with us. We can’t wait to see the impact she’ll continue to make as we head into competition season!

Welcome to the Chevalier family, Kylie! 🫶

Kylie Barney has developed a deep passion for dance and choreography through years of diverse training, performance, and coaching experience. Originally from Mesa, Arizona, Kylie trained at Danceworks by Dannis and Impact Dance, where she built a strong foundation in technique and style through training in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, ballroom, and acrobatics. During high school, she was a member of the Mountain View Toro Pom team for four years, continuing to grow as both a performer and dancer. Kylie furthered her dance career at Utah Valley University as a member of the nationally ranked UVU Dance Team, where she earned five UDA National Championship titles and one NDA National Championship title. During her freshman year, she had the incredible opportunity to represent the United States at the ICU World Championships, bringing home a World Championship gold medal. Kylie has also shared her passion for dance through coaching, serving as an assistant coach for the Pleasant Grove Drill Team for two years. She spent three years dancing professionally as a Utah Jazz Dancer, gaining valuable experience in performance, entertainment, and the professional dance industry. Today, she travels across the country working with studios and schools as a choreographer and instructor, sharing her love for dance while helping dancers grow in their technique, confidence, and artistry. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with the Chevaliers!

We loved our final day of our first summer camp! We had so much fun with @kylie_barney learning a hip hop combination in all of the levels. We can’t wait to see everyone in July. #ShineYourLight #clogging

I was at a family reunion this last week and I led some of the gals in a little lower body workout! I try to move my body everyday, especially while I am on vacation! It doesn’t always look the same as my regular workouts but I feel so much better when I do!
