Show day was a blast! Met a lot of people that I get to call my friends and shared the stage with some of them which is always an honor!

This show was definitely very competitive and I am extremely happy with the placing. However, I would lie if I said I didn’t really want this win. I will make a video going over the plan moving forward, what happened to produce the look that we presented and how we will improve.

I also want to congratulate @saburfavors for winning! I will see you in Vegas for the rematch my brotha! 💪🤝

Coach @prodbyprob reminded me that @saburfavors is doing this show! He’s a two time Olympian so he will be dangerous. @mahfuzhawitpro and @dom.carter87 have been neck and neck a few times. @the.black.rambo will be a contender too. @kylraggio.ifbbpro made top 5 in his debut. @fitwithtwoine_ has pulled out

Even as a coach, I still have my own coach.

Not because I don’t know how to train or what I need to do.
It’s because accountability, clear direction and an objective perspective are incredibly valuable.

Having someone who can cut through the BS, challenge my decisions and keep me focused on what actually matters takes the guesswork out of the process.

Sometimes the biggest value of coaching isn’t more information.

It’s having someone who makes sure you’re applying the right information consistently. Shout out to @kylraggio.ifbbpro 🤘🏾

19 weeks Building Phase … while living in Bali 🌴

Proof you don’t need to put your goals on hold just because your environment changes.

Different gyms, different food, travelling, eating out and a completely different routine but the goal stayed the same.
I make this off-season productive and come out of it with a better physique.

It wasn’t about being perfect every day. It was about staying consistent, training with intent, keeping nutrition on track and knowing when to adjust instead of using life as an excuse.

Because a good plan shouldn’t only work when your routine is perfect. It should be able to adapt to your life, wherever you are.
Still plenty to improve, but happy with what’s been built so far.

Top 5 and Flex Athlete @kylraggio.ifbbpro’s first pay day as an an IFBB Pro 🤑💪

Not the biggest cheque he will ever earn, but a symbolic one nonetheless + it meant dinner was on him (check the final slide for what he ate).

After missing his height category at the San Antonio Pro 2 weeks ago, meaning he couldn’t compete, this show meant more to him then he would have ever imagined a few weeks prior.

But we made it…

Sucking down to 92.6kg to make weight (walking around ready at 95kg) then gaining some very important data for me as a coach as to what is necessary for Kyl to make weight but then produce his best look.

We took a pretty modest approach to both the weight cut and the load this week, and it produced a great look. Peeled, but a touch flat, however I wanted this peak to be as low stress for Kyl as possible after last shows stressful experience.

Now we know what to expect, we have 2 more weeks until his next show and I have a clear idea on what we can do to make the next showing even better!

The 2026 Southern Muscle Showdown Pro produced two clear champions in Dalton. Mike Sommerfeld won Men’s Classic Physique after scoring three points. Phoebe Hagan matched that mark to capture the Women’s Bikini title.

Sommerfeld’s victory was particularly notable because it came one week after his runner-up finish at the 2026 Olympia. He also entered the show as the reigning Arnold Classic UK champion from earlier in the season.

Hagan’s victory continued her strong 2026 campaign. She collected her third professional win of the year, while Kaltwasser and Campos completed the Bikini podium. The Southern Muscle Showdown therefore closed with two international champions and several athletes carrying momentum into the next stage of the season.
