Starting where we left off, THE CEREMONY! ✨ Consider this your sign to have the outdoor ceremony and book your wedding at @thegrandws because are you KIDDING ME with these photos?! The white architecture, everyone dressed in black, the parasols, the emotion and that gorgeous light made the entire thing feel so luxurious. After these two officially started their forever, we grabbed family photos and just married portraits as the sun went down before heading inside for dinner, speeches, first dances and honestly one of the most entertaining receptions I have gotten to photograph. 😂 Cake being passed around, a packed dance floor, a private last dance and then the sweetest bubble exit to end it all. Kynlen and Waylon, you two know how to throw a wedding!!! WOW. The second I saw what these two were planning at @thegrandws , I immediately hopped on a plane for this one. And somehow, it is even more beautiful in person. The entire day was giving luxury French country estate. The white architecture, black details, parasols, that DRESS, the sweetest little flower girls, the ceremony in front of those gorgeous wooden doors. We were ALL in heaven. But as beautiful as every detail was, Kynlen & Waylon are even more beautiful together. Their love for one another, surrounded by the most precious friends and family, made this day so incredibly special to capture. And apparently I have zero self control when choosing photos because we are starting at the beginning of the day and only making it to the beginning of the ceremony. This one absolutely needs a Part 2 and honestly… possibly a Part 3. So grateful I got to hop on a plane, head to Arkansas and capture the beginning of forever for these two. I cannot WAIT to share more!!! You guys… I’m just obsessed with film photos. I’m currently in my 10th year as a photographer, and honestly, this season has been so fulfilling for the artist in me. The older I get, the more I realize I never want to stop learning, evolving, experimenting, and finding new ways to tell wedding stories. People ask how I continue creating images that still feel fresh and emotionally connected after all these years, and the truth is… I love when the bar is raised. I love when trends shift, technology changes, or creativity pushes me outside of my comfort zone because it means I get to evolve too. Purposeful blur. Shaky movement. 35mm film. Super 8. Outdoor full sun flash moments. Grain. Texture. Imperfection that somehow feels even more human and emotional than perfection ever could. Please everyone keep pushing the envelope and expectations because otherwise I would be dreadfully bored. 😂 I genuinely love documenting your lives, your wedding days, your memories, and I think when people hire me, they know they’re getting more than someone who simply takes photos. They’re getting someone deeply in love with the art of remembering. These were all photographed on my Minolta X-700 with 35mm film and every scan coming back from the lab still feels like Christmas morning to me. #filmphotography #minoltax700 #35mmfilmphoto #filmphotograph #weddingfilmphotographer [ Wedding Film Photographer - Destination Wedding Photography - Editorial Wedding Photographer ]
