Focusing on our relationship with Christ is the most important aspect of life. Which has driven me in my decision to step away from this game. Truth is, my relationship with God hasn't been the strongest as of lately, and I can not blame anyone for that besides myself. I am so grateful for where football has taken me and who I've got to call family because of it. Everyones path is different, but for me in order to grow further in Christ, it is essential to let go of this game, football was merely a vehicle to spread the gospel, it doesn't change my mindset or work ethic. I am so grateful for everyone I met while being at CMU, I love you all. May Christ be with you.
