Hi Barbie! Hi Zilveren Krekel! 💥🩷

🥳😍LET’S GO BARBIE NOMINATED FOR THE BNG THEATRE AWARD @theaterfestival WITH @halinetoo

This project is part of a bigger road that I’m taking and researching in the theatre world. A few years ago I found out that I’m struggling a lot with the rhythm of making theatre, the rhythm of producing new work in 6 till 8 weeks and have your première, go on tour and during that tour producing new thoughts and work for the next. 😮‍💨

Let’s go Barbie is the first performance with a theatrecompany such as @maastd where I felt the courage to tell my needs, more space, more time to create and have fun with no pressure for the outcome. We made a plan around our desire and spread it over a large period of time. As a person of color, performer and theatre maker it’s getting more and more necessary to combine my needs with the timetable of the work I want to create instead of what the timetable of a theatrecompany is. What do we need as humans and artists? What does my body say about this pace? How do children view the speed of our producing and what do we tell them about slow producing?
What’s the real rhythm of my work? Can I allow myself to let go of the work for a while and come back to it, with new thoughts if needed? I think it’s time for some balance.⚖️

Shout out to my brother, my Ken @halinetoo .✨ Who is an inspiring, talented maker, performer and my friend. Let’s go Barbie wasn’t the same without you, starting on the mimeschool with this and now we’re here.
Happy that MaasTD gave us that space. Thanks to Andrea, Bobby, Daan for helping us producing this. Thanks to Moniek, final direction and giving us your knowledge and advice. Dionne, the realest Barbie and our side-eye from the beginning of this project. Nina, the queen and amazing artist that made the music. Calle, the star that made our Barbiehouse real Esmee the most talented doll that created our costumes together with another amazing doll Kyra and last but not least my mother who made the Barbie dress, yes, she can do it all. ❤️

Let’s go Barbie is still in process and the creating part will continue. In 2025 were going on tour ✨. Sneakpreview on the 13th of July @maastd

Poepshow. Ps. STUNTKONT speelt nog

Dear Skater Community,

It is with a mix of emotions that I share this news with you. After much consideration, I have decided to close our beloved KyraVivianStudio. While it's a bittersweet farewell, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and enthusiasm throughout this incredible journey.

The shop will remain open until the 23rd of December, giving you the opportunity to grab your favorite rollerskate toe caps, wings, charms and leashes at unbeatable prices during our closing sale, starting today! This is your last chance to own a piece of the joy and excitement that rollerskating brings.

Please rest assured that even after the 23rd, I will be here to address any questions you may have regarding shipping, products, or any other inquiries. My commitment to providing excellent customer service remains unchanged, and I will continue to assist until each and every one of you has received your orders and is satisfied.

The ending of this shop also signifies a new beginning—a canvas for fresh creativity and exciting possibilities. I am grateful for the memories we've created together and look forward to exploring new avenues of passion and innovation.

Thank you for being a part of our rollerskate community. It has been an honor serving you, and I look forward to assisting you in the coming weeks as we close this chapter and embrace the promise of new creative horizons together.

Wishing you endless joy on wheels and sending heartfelt thanks,

Kyra Vivian Studio
