Assignment 1: Airport ✈️

Nothing says "fresh start" like distressed , bleached jeans by @purple_brand and a silk
t-shirt and boots by @dior .

First step in this visual style rebrand, let’s focus on the star at hand - Mr Mike Epps.
I don’t want him hidden behind heavy fashion pieces , I strategically want for him and the fashion to become 1 , 1 look at a time.

He attended an Emmys after party in runway @amiri Fall 2026 (Look 17) on the suit, a Haider Ackermann for @tomford runway shirt and scarf (Look 21), and $1,600 @ysl fur loafers. He posed with his wife @kyraepps, also styled by @elly30 in runway @amiri Fall 2026 (Look 10). He accessorized with pieces by @newbottega .

🪡🧵I wanted to approach the sartorial suiting concept on @therealmikeepps with ease , something close to no effort. He’s a unique talent and I think the garments should match his cool gangsta energy!

Here on this look I wanted to crash out on the traditional black tie - suit idea. The wingtip shirt historically known as a Gladstone collar - strictly known to be worn as formal ?

I suggested to Mike for it be worn as close to undone as possible, I.e., full open chest , and I even pressed the French cuffs all the way out the sleeves to demonstrate this “idgaf I’m a rockstar feel” , then continued and added a silk scarf to reference the black- tie dress code and a Cadillac diamond encrusted chain for a touch of arrogance.💎

The glen plaid suit , intentionally tailored into a full 1970’s silhouette with ,slight cut bell bottoms - appeared so simple and traditional until you set light on its fabric layered in golden fibers shining as bright as a Hollywood spot light. And the shoes well , I wanted to create a textured contrast - 🐎Pony hair off the runway Yves Saint laurent loafer , a gangsta Play🔥🤝🏾

For Mrs Epps (the icing on the cake) I needed a look to simply compliment the rock and roll 🎸deal and look number 10 handbrated masterpiece was our first only choice !
