“I work intuitively, the ink and I play, dance and get lost. I don’t like to work with any preconceived ideas; I allow myself the freedom to make. While some works and I may battle others are simpler to make. I may not always have the words to express what I want to say, but my art is my language, my way of making sense of the world, and my experience of it.”

Being a part of @theprintinggirls is an intrinsic part of who I am as the director and master printmaker of Chocolate Ink Studio. It enables me to invite members of my print family into my sacred spaces and to assist them in seeing their project come to life.

For The Printing Girls collaborative feature at the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, I was able to assist @kyrapapeholz @simphiwe7270 @daleenolsen and @elli_wahl_art to realise their dream of being featured at an event of such extreme importance on our Art Fair and Events calendar.

Thank you @avagallery.za and @westerncapegov for this honour. I am still pinching myself on a daily basis- the butterflies in my tummy increase as the count down to the opening night begins!!

I am truly thankful and blessed...

@kyrapapeholz & @rpassmoor – Disrupted M06

Medium: Relief embossing with archival ink on paper
Size: 50 × 35.5 cm
Price: R7,205

Disrupted M06 emerges from a collaborative exploration of surface, pressure, and interruption. Through relief embossing and layered ink, the work captures traces of force and resistance — where form is built through compression, erasure, and re-marking.

📍 ark. contemporary, Rosendal
