The Choptank: Who else but the Shirley board to head up the late crew, assisted by Big Capes. Dalton “Chunk” Young sure knows how to host a little weekend soirée. Captain Chunk and the late crew made their way by boat into Naptown for something of a victory lap. And boy oh boy are we over the moon that we did. The Choptank (named after CEO Chop), proved themselves unrivaled in the realm of Shirley. To date, this has been the greatest Shirley and maybe the greatest service the board has seen. With a heavy hand and a full heart, the bartender at the chop poured a Shirley full of whimsy and wonder. He wasn’t shy with the grenadine, he was demonstrative with the carbonation, and he even asked the board whether they preferred sprite or ginger ale (sprite btw). Even had free refills. The stuff of dreams. Genuinely can’t draw up a better finale to this weekend. In the words of Chunk Young “Chunk hungry”. 9.14/10
