Sotheby’s Contemporary Curated has partnered with Grammy Award nominee and Billboard Award-winning DJ, artist, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist @steveaoki as this season’s curator. This was the first live/in-person auction at Sotheby’s following the onset of the pandemic.

As part of his partnership with Sotheby’s, they will collectively be offering a newly-minted Aoki NFT, produced in collaboration with artist pplpleasr. A portion of proceeds will be dedicated in support the plsA0k1 Vault, an initiative established by the two artists to support the careers of female NFT artists.

The collection itself is comprised of 5 NFTs, including the aforementioned Steve & pplpleaser piece, with additional works by @kyt , @nessgraphics , @rafagrassetti and @krista.kim . These pieces will be made available for sale in the same auction featuring works by Warhol, Basquiat, Hirst, Murakami and Kaws
