@kyunbunny - Bake-kujira Hallo everybunny! . . #ArtistYokaiEnzyklopädie #yokai #artbook

Day 4 of posting old art: Gemstone Collab - Alexandrite OC Sena 🦋✨️ My Persona OC's hair, eyes, and clothes are based on the June Birthsone Alexandrite, which changes the colour based on the surrounding light sources & reflections. During daylight, lab grown Alexandrite mostly looks blue-green depending if it's facing direct or indirect sunlight. In specific angles and intensity, it can have crimson red shades. If there's little light during dawn, it looks blue-gray-black mostly. If there is a yellow-orange artificial light, it will change to violet. Under ultraviolet light, it shines crimson red again. To study the full effects of the light changes, I bought myself a ring as seen on the last slide. The concept in this piece is related to my rl experiences during my time as "Sena Lou" so far. Just a few months before opening this account, I got seriously ill, fighting chronic pain and physical limitations all the time, which took a big toll on my social life, psyche, and dreams. My broken life dreams and sources of pain are pictured as shades in the glass fragments, which I wanted to escape from remembering. Since many of those dreams are linked to the outside world/daytime, I chose the daylight version for this. The artificial light/night version is holding the world of art, completely escaping to a world of fantasy. Drawing and joining the art community here and at cons helped me a lot mentally. Being an artist is the most important dream I was able to keep. Therefore, this is the default version of my persona. The butterflies are a symbol of my fragile health but are also linked to my true name's meaning. 🪽the gala's ghost note 🪽 At fourteen, Eira Tenshouin looked as if she had been born beneath stage lights. But those who watched closely could see it in the tilt of her head, the downturned lashes, the way her left hand lingered for half a second longer than written: She was lonely. Not for lack of admirers, nor for lack of applause - the room would erupt the moment she finished, and she already knew it. But applause meant nothing when the world demanded perfection more often than it offered comfort. Still, Eira played. She always played. Because at the piano, she didn’t have to speak. Didn’t have to smile. Didn’t have to explain why her heart ached on nights like this, when she shone so brightly she felt she might disappear. The final chord sounded - gentle, wistful, dissolving into silence like a wish that would never be granted. She stood, bowed with flawless grace, and smiled the way she had been taught. But the sadness in her eyes lingered—visible only to those who knew how to look. 🩵✨️members✨️🩵 @snowburuu (host) @inlya.art (host) @_luniis_ @ananna_illust @droptheberry @drxcoid @saruii.sara @shinriin_ @cheirisimum @l3m0n_pie @peachels1411 @iru.shinooo @itsjikson @kyunbunny @skibidiliuix @missvariel @mochelkou @nana.ngantuk @roset.tea @soranova #hatsunemiku #mikuxoc #ocxmiku #artcollab #artcollaboration #artistcollaboration #artistcollab #art #artist #mikucollab #procreate #cellshading #oc #originalcharcter #ocs #originalcharacterdrawings #originalcharacterartist #artistsupport #pastelart #pastelcolors #enstarsoc #ensemblestarsoc
