10/19/26 #dunktober2026 Day 19

On feet today is the 2020 Instant Skateboards x SB Dunk low. The colorway draws inspiration from the Tokyo Shibiya bus lines while the 3M toe box mimics bright headlights. Hachi or Hachiko is symbolized on the lateral heel. He was the well-known Akita in Tokyo that had unwavering loyalty to his owner Professor Uneo and would meet him every day at the Shibuya Station. #sneakerhead #kimthesbqueen #igsneakercommunity #nikesb

#dunktober2026 Day 4 (10/4/26) I sure let my imagination run wild with this pair and story! We’ve got one angry Mama Bear looking to make some Goldilocks Gumbo. She tried to steal Mama’s signature shoe, the 2006 SB dunk mid Three Bears - Mama Bear and now Goldilocks is running for her life. Does Mama get revenge and make a delicious meal or does Goldilocks escape from getting cooked? Choose your ending! #sneakerhead #igsneakercommunity #kimthesbqueen #nikesb Shout out to my friend @kyxonwheels for this pair. I appreciate you 🫶🙌

2023 was an amazing year for Nike SB. A year that saw countless QS (Quickstrike) releases such as: “Yuto Horigome” “BornXRaised” “April” “Powerpuff Girls” “Jarritos” “Supreme Rammellzzee” “Crenshaw Skate” and the SBOTY for many, the “SB JORDAN 4” 🔥 But the argument was that these limited QS releases made it difficult for people that weren’t in the resale business to buy pairs. It was an era driven by “Bots” “Backdoor transactions” and high resale value. Then in the following years (2024-2025), Nike SB switched to a formula where they released less QR releases and more GR releases with high stock numbers. That change also saw Nike SB’s collabs with pro skateboarders go from limited QS “Sail Box” releases to “Purple Box” GR’s, to assure that skateboarders had access to easily buying these pairs. But the argument (for some) is now “Nike SB is dead” 🫠 Now you can walk into a skate shop and have at least 8-10 SB Dunk options to choose from at retail; while the pairs on the resale market are often available for just a few dollars above retail. 💰 So my question to you is, DOES THE LOW RESALE VALUE AFFECT YOUR INTEREST IN COLLECTING? And I specified “Collecting” because I understand that in the world of collecting (anything) part of the desire for it is the rarity and “Thrill of the hunt.” 🔎 Collectors want pairs that are hard to find and thrive off stories like, “I bought this shoe for $150 and it’s now worth $750” 😈 But when everything is easily accessible (New releases) how does that concept have an affect on you? 💯 #Sneakerdebate #NikeSB #SBDUNKS

“EARLY SAMPLE” of the “April” SB Dunk Low (2023) via @shanejoneill 🔥 This was the sample before the “Turbo Green” version that released to the public! WHAT YALL THINK? Is this better than the released version? Should they release this version in 2026? 💯 #NikeSB #aprilskateboards
