To think I started playing at three years old with no intention to play as long as I did let alone even go to college and play is one of my greatest achievements. Softball came with many life lessons, but the most important was “you get to be here, you get to do what you do.” It’s been an outlet of mine when I needed to escape from the world and I could just be myself. I have made so many friendships and have met so many amazing people who I will cherish for the rest of my life.

I was lucky enough to end my career as a Pat and play for one of the best teams in the country. They helped me find myself again after leaving a place where I felt lost, worthless, and felt like I was drowning in life. They welcomed me in as one of their own and changed my life in more ways possible in such a short amount of time. I will miss the game day feeling, pre-game hackey, and most of all those free team dinners of course (thanks dilly😝) I thank God everyday that he led me to Williamsburg and that I got to represent the school and this team❤️

I have so much gratitude for what this sport has given and took from me as well. This journey has been my favorite and softball will always have a special place in my heart. Now that this chapter of my life has closed, I can’t wait to see where God takes me next!💜
