Guess who graduated yesterday! I can’t believe my four years at Columbia are already over, but cannot wait to start my next steps as an illustrator! I know little me would be so proud.

I also won Illustrator of the Year at the ILLO awards! I am so unbelievably grateful for my time here and for everything I was able to do!

Thank you to everyone who I met these past few years. Thank you to my friends and family both chosen and blood related, I could not have done it without you!

The Illustration Homecoming Potluck was a resounding success! My most heartfelt thank you's go out to everyone who participated whether by bringing food, helping out, or going out of their comfort zone to talk to people and help create a fun welcoming environment. And a thank you to the teachers that provided support! I hope everyone left with a new friend and a couple business cards, stickers, or prints!
It's an honor to organize events like this for such a colorful community. I encourage others to give it a try, people are always looking for a reason to come together :) As far as my future plans go, keep an ear out for a whispers of a spring potluck next semester. See you soon everyone!

So happy to end my junior year at Columbia with celebration! I won best children book illustrator at CCC’s Illo awards! But I am really celebrating all the hard work everyone put into the ceremony and the year in general! Really so grateful for everyone I have met and grown closer to this past year.

over the weekend, I got to experience tabling and selling my work for the very first time at columbia college chicago's student-run art convention, INKfest!!!

I sold a total of 41 prints of my art (thank you to everyone who bought!!!!!) and was also able to trade prints with other artists. it was lots of work, but such a rewarding experience and I was glad I was able to participate before graduating :D

I want to give a huge shout-out to all of the talented artists and especially @isgcolumbia and all the hardworking people who made this event possible! 💙💙
