Come and get it!!! We were SO spoiled last weekend. Check out the menu and she wouldn’t let me lift a finger. (This is very hard for me to sit back and do nothing)
Friday…Grilled pork Chops, rosemary potatoes and steamed cauliflower. Saturday…breakfast quiche and fruit. Saturday night…
Chicken Parmesan, Olive Garden salad and bread with oil/vinegar dip. Sunday….scrambled eggs and crepes with amazing berry sauce. AMAZING!
One of the stories Jon shared on Friday while on the pontoon ride was how some guy on Love Lake had seen a Sturgeon jump out of Love Lake. This is a very rare occurrence and his story was very entertaining. Anyway, Come Saturday evening before dinner, Lori and I were down on the dock enjoying our wine, taking funny selfies, right…..when all of a sudden about 100ft away, she got a GOOD look at one jumping about 5ft in the air. I heard it and saw it just as it was entering back into the water. Omgosh!! Needless to say, it was a very exciting moment. We guessed it to be about 7ft long. Not sure…but, it was huge!!

We had such a wonderful time up north in Danbury, Wisconsin at my sister and brother-in-law’s lake home, actually 2 homes plus a boathouse. It’s called Love Lake and it is Lovely. Such Great hospitality! Thanks Lori and Jon.

My sister treated me to a wonderful weekend on Lake Okoboji. We enjoyed a delicious meal at The Prime Boji. Our 7:00 reservation did not disappoint as we were able to watch the most incredible sunset over the lake. It was just lovely. Thank you Lori❣️
