Almost a Year Since Diosa’s Black Widows 🥹

When I created this project last year, it represented women empowerment, taking up space, being bold, unapologetic and never making yourself smaller to make other people comfortable.

A year later, I see even more meaning in it.

Thinking about a spider web. Something so thin, delicate and easy to overlook yet the material it’s made from has an incredible strength to weight ratio. Spider silk can rival steel by weight, stretch considerably before breaking, a web can sustain damage to individual strands without the entire structure collapsing. Something that looks fragile was built to endure & it honestly reminds me of myself as a woman navigating life’s trials and tribulations. I think there’s something so beautifully feminine about that.

We’re often taught to associate strength with hardness, being tough, loud, unaffected but strength can be soft. It can bend. It can stretch. It can be damaged and still hold itself together. Femininity has never been synonymous with fragility.

You can be soft and still be powerful. Delicate and still resilient. You can take up space without sacrificing the parts of yourself that the world mistakes for weakness and just like a spider builds her own web, strand by strand, there’s power in creating something of your own! Your life, your art, your career, your identity and standing firmly in the center of it. I aim to continue to empower the women around me!

Never mistake softness for weakness.

A sneak peek into how BOSTON’s Performance Workshop unfolded ✨

Thank you to every dancer who stepped into the space and chose to lead with curiosity, rawness, freedom, expansion, connection, intention, confidence, and authenticity. You didn’t just show up. You allowed yourselves to be seen.

The energy in the room is what shaped everything. The way each of you carried yourselves, with presence and intention, created a space where vulnerability felt safe and expression could flow freely. Because when the energy isn’t right, you can’t expect truth to live there.

Proud of every single one of you for trusting the process and leaning into your story ✨

Whew 🥶❄️ outside… but inside Rhythm Factory? STRAIGHT HEAT 🔥🔥

These women showed up, showed OUT, and set the floor on fire. Every dancer you see here stepped into their power, owned their space, and delivered solo energy that was bold, fearless, and unapologetic. This is what happens when women choose movement, artistry, and confidence over comfort.

To everyone who attended this Heels Experience — I’m so proud of you.
To everyone watching from home wishing they were there — don’t worry… your moment is coming.

More heels classes.
More empowering experiences.
More opportunities to feel strong, sexy, and unstoppable.

Stay tuned & come dance with us 🖤🔥
