From Ollie’s Place and Mighty Mutts Team:
Dear friends,

Some of you might remember back in May there was a GoFundMe for Buddy, the orange kitty. Ollie’s Place and Mighty Mutts want to express the deepest gratitude for your incredible generosity and support in helping Buddy receive the life-changing eye surgery. Your contributions have made a profound difference in Buddy’s life, and Ollie’s Place’s volunteers are eternally grateful.

Thanks to your kindness, Buddy is now on the road to recovery. He has started coming out of his kennel to explore and interact with the other kitties. The Cat Adoption Center is truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and compassion from the community. Your generosity has reminded the volunteers the incredible kindness of strangers.

Please come visit and see the new Buddy who has come out of his shell and looking for his forever home.

Thank you again for your support. We will cherish your kindness forever.

FACT: I am obsessed with our Stitch Sampler Scarf and think everyone who knows how to crochet should make one.🧣😜 But don’t take it from me…. Here’s what our CommuniTEA thinks about it:

⭐️ “Best Project Ever!!! The hardest part of this project is picking the color way! The pattern is easy to follow because it is so well written. The video tutorial was so helpful learning the new (to me) stitches. I have been wanting to learn more stitches and this fit the bill.” -R

⭐️ “Confidence Builder! I made my scarf in 7 days! I could not put it down! And at the end of every row I would study the stitches I made and admire my work while grinning ear-to-ear. It really built my crochet confidence!” -L

⭐️ “The most fun! I loved making this scarf! The different stitches every row kept it interesting and engaging. It was hard to put down because I was so excited to try the next row of stitches.” -L

Get your 🧣 Pattern + Yarn for 10% off thru Sunday w/ code CROCHETJAN10 (+ a FREE project bag!) via the link in bio!!!! 🏃‍♀️

💪🧶 YARN ARMS FIELD TRIP 🧶💪

Today the Stein family and @l2lulu ventured out to Port Washington, NY to visit @allionthemove and her incredible Yarn Arms Around Port exhibition. Allison coordinated the creation of approximately 100 crocheted arms decorating 50 trees along the town’s Main Street, bringing together hundreds of members of her community to stitch this project to life! Talk about a power house!!!

Allison, the TNTP CommuniTEA is SO proud of you for what you’ve created!!!!! We admire you so much!!! 💗

Swipe through for highlights from our day including jujjing up some arms and adding our TNTP mark to one of the trees! 😍 Be sure to watch the two videos at the end where Allison give tips on yarn bombing trees and shares about who exactly crocheted the arms!

Our first TNTP field trip is in the books!! It’s going to be a hard one to top!!!!

Thank you so much again to Allison for taking the time to tour us and to Laura for trekking out to Long Island to join the fun!! A truly special afternoon!!! 👯‍♀️🧶💪💕

One of the participants pointing to her contribution to the Manhattan map…

After the participation stage of The Urban Fabric was finished, all of the maps, photos, videos and booklets were exhibited together in all five countries. The final exhibitions of the worldwide tour of the project were named ¨The Urban Fabric: The Psychogeography of the Embroidered City¨. The exhibition in New York City took place in

It's our final CAMP TNTP Project Roundup of the summer — Polymer Clay Jewelry!! 📿

Our campers are some TALENTED jewelry designers! 🤩 Thanks to craft counselor @maddiebana, they learned techniques for creating patterned slabs, then turned their slabs into gorgeous shapes for earrings! They even learned how to repurpose their scraps into fun marbled beads and chain links for even more jewelry creations with zero waste! 🎨 Everyone looks absolutely FABULOUS rocking their new pieces! 💥

It's been such a joy to see everyone's special take on the craft projects each week! 🙌 Campers will share their most prized creations tonight @ our last craft canteen — the CAMP TNTP CRAFT SHOW! 👩‍🎨
