Gave it some time to post but here it goes… (will be long)

The last tournament of the year for us was back home in Lansing, Michigan. It was @playnaia Bowling Championships at Royal Scot. We had a super long 15 hour bus ride to make it here from school, but once we got there, everyone felt so thankful and blessed for the opportunity to be able to bowl for one of the best trophies you can have, during college bowling. The first day we went into matchplay automatically and where the pattern made you start dead left as the oil ended around 30sum feet. We versed Indiana Tech first round and lost 2-0 which was a bummer but since it was double elimination, we still had life to come back together and figure some out.

Next day, we verse Aquinas and something clicked with us. We ended up beating them 2-1 because we knew it was make or break for us. After beating them, we had time to settle down and relax to see what we could do better for our next match against Calumet. We ended up losing 2-1 due to some terrible shot making (which was partially my fault as well). But with this loss, we didn’t hang our heads and think it’s the end of the world. We used this as motivation for next season to continue to want to grow and constantly get better. It’s something many people dream of going to and many don’t get to. It’s truly an honor.

Also got to hangout with a lot of my Concordia buddies who I don’t get to see very often, since I’m so far away which was pretty cool! Miss these guys more than anything and would love to be able to spend more time with them soon! Still a Card4Life🐦❤️

P.S. don’t worry, we’ll be back next year😉

That’s a wrap! What an amazing and lesson learning season! Making a nice run at the NAIA National Championship falling short landing in 8th place.

To each one of these gentlemen that I had the pleasure of spending this season with. Each one of you has so much potentially and never have a doubt in where your skills and abilities could take you! I’ve learned much from you guys and couldn’t thank you enough. Keep your head up and never stop the grind. Being a part of this team allowed me the realize first hand the aspects in which we need to work on.

As for now, in the collegiate world, time to hang up the bowling shoes and tie up the coaching laces again. Super excited to have an opportunity to come back and coach the great group of guys. For now, back to the drawing board. Mock my words, NAIA Nationals…we will be back.

Well another year of school meant another year of bowling. Haven’t posted much about the things happening this year but as a recap. Bowled a couple college tournaments and won a couple girls titles.

But this last weekend by far has been the best one this whole year. Being named to the West Coast Collegiate All-Star Team and taking second in Women’s for the weekend. (Congrats Matt for leading the whole weekend.)

Being that this is last tournament of the collegiate season for us before Sectionals we were able to also recognize Regis, Emily and I as seniors.

I am thankful for my coach, parents and my teammates who have all helped me through this process and have molded me into the person I am today. Bowling has been a huge step in my life and it will never go away.

I’m excited for the rest of this year and for future endeavors. I am excited for the other all-stars named this year and for meeting new people and making new friends throughout the year.
