⊹₊⟡⋆ Meet our First Year Representatives! ⋆⟡₊⊹

Our FYRs are chosen and welcomed by our Triad at the beginning of each academic year. They play an active role in engaging with the AASA community while building leadership skills through mentorship from our executive board and event chairs. 💙

⋆˙⟡ Subaha hopes to spread asian cultural awareness throughout campus and promote AASA’s values of inclusion and equality for all.

⋆˙⟡ David hopes to foster an inclusive community in which people can celebrate and take pride in their unique cultural backgrounds, promoting awareness and equal representation.

⋆˙⟡ Shayna hopes to grow and foster an inclusive community where students can feel like they belong and showcase cultural diversity across campus ✌️

⋆˙⟡ Vanessa hopes to further develop a safe space within the community where all voices can be heard and equally represented as well as bring more awareness to others 🫰

⋆˙⟡ Lara hopes to gain confidence in her identity, friendships that last, and opportunities to grow while celebrating our shared culture 🫰

⋆˙⟡ Quincy hopes to create a space at OU that spreads diversity, awareness, and appreciation for all cultures across campus.

⋆˙⟡ Esther hopes to help highlight underrepresented/diverse perspectives within the community and build meaningful connections through involvement 🫶

Our lovely First Year Reps conclude our AASA EXEC posts! Hope you guys enjoyed Vol. 25-26 of AASA! ᡣ𐭩 •｡ꪆৎ ˚⋅
