What’s one word you’d use to describe a book you haven’t even read yet? 👀

At @claire.everywhere pre-launch party for Pillar of Ink, we’d just heard Claire tell us a little about her book, so I went around the room and asked everyone what’s ONE (cheats got two) word that comes to mind when you think about Pillar of Ink before reading the ARC?

If you’re lucky enough to be receiving an ARC count yourselves very lucky!! This is going to be one of the top books for 2027 🤌

Thank you @allenandunwin for having us, we are so lucky to be able to celebrate your authors with you 🥰

If I missed your handle I’m sorry!! Please comment so I can update it xoxoxox

Thank you to Dymocks for inviting me to the Wuthering Heights Sydney Premiere 🖤 It was truly an honour—and such an incredible night!

We had an unforgettable time at the opening night celebration of "Wuthering Heights", the wildly creative reimagining of the classic novel, and even caught glimpses of stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi!

See "Wuthering Heights" only in cinemas. Find your session times with @weareflicks.

Discover the book that inspired the movie at the 🔗 in bio and in-store.

“A Wild Sheep Chase”

Reading Haruki Murakami in August is like stepping into a sun-drenched, yet strangely cool, dream. The heat of the month, thick and humid, seems to melt away, replaced by the hushed tones of his prose. It’s a time for quiet introspection, for losing yourself in the labyrinthine corridors of his characters’ minds while the cicadas outside sing their relentless, summer-long song.

Each page feels like a plunge into a parallel Tokyo, where jazz floats on the air, cats have mysterious thoughts, and the lines between reality and the surreal blur in the shimmering heat. It’s the perfect time to get lost in a new world, a captivating escape from the ordinary before the season ends.

If you want to have a faceless bookstagram, my number one tip is to create lots of b-roll footage of you doing something without showing your face. 🎥 This gives us someone to connect with and you can maintain your privacy.
