🏈 ONM – RAMS RELEASE KICKER HARRISON MEVIS FOLLOWING MONDAY NIGHT LOSS

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 — The Los Angeles Rams have released kicker Harrison Mevis less than 24 hours after their heartbreaking 37–34 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Mevis missed a 50-yard field goal earlier in the game before having a potential game-winning 48-yard attempt blocked in overtime.

Following the loss, head coach Sean McVay criticized the team’s kicking performance, saying it cost them the game.

The Rams are now bringing in kicker Blake Grupe from the New York Jets’ practice squad as his replacement.

🏈 Rams fans, what do you think? Was releasing Mevis the right decision, or should he have been given another opportunity?

@officialdanielsilvas 🚨 UPDATE | Nepal-China Flash Flood Survivor House 🚨 New video from the Aug. 26, 2026 Nepal–China border disaster shows a family on the balcony of a mint-green / turquoise house as a wall of mud and debris tears through their settlement.

The multi-story home stays standing while nearby roofs, tin sheets, and smaller buildings are crushed or buried. A white van is half-swallowed in mud at the base of the house. Later clips confirm the family seen on the balcony survived. On-screen text includes a Nepali appeal for help.

The flood followed an ice-rock / glacial collapse near the Nepal–Tibet border that surged into the Lhende River (Bhotekoshi / Bhote Koshi), hitting Rasuwa (Timure / Rasuwagadhi), Nuwakot, and China’s Gyirong Port.

As of Aug. 29: about 626 confirmed dead in Nepal, 7 in Tibet, and roughly 2,400–2,500 still listed missing across both sides. Search work continues amid mud, wrecked roads, and fear of a second surge from a debris-blocked lake upstream.
