Taco Tuesday! Not tacos, but a carnitas burrito, “Olvera fajita combo”, and some tableside guac from @la_casitaolvera. ¡Delicioso!

Life is a fiesta 🫶🪅

I recently visited La Casita Olvera and I was blown away by the amazing flavors of their dishes. This restaurant serves the best Mexican food in Lake Forest!

To start, I ordered their chips and salsa along with their delicious guacamole which was incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of lime and cilantro.

For my main course, I tried their Sizzling Fajita which I highly recommend! Your choice of: Citrus Chicken, Angus Reserve Steak, Chipotle Garlic Shrimp, or all three (Tierra, Mar & Cielo). This delicious fajita is served with onions and bell peppers, rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, chile toreado, and your choice of tortillas. It’s a 10/10, you don’t want to miss out!!!

I also couldn't resist trying their Breakfast Burrito. There's something so satisfying about the combination of eggs, cheese, and avocado, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla.

PS: Don’t forget to try their Mimosa Flight and Churros for dessert - this mix will definitely spice up your day! 🎉🍹

Overall, my experience at this Mexican restaurant was outstanding. The food was incredibly flavorful, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively. I’ll be back!

⁣Taco time! 🌮 ⠀
⠀
I’d eat shrimp tacos every day if I could 🍤 We stopped by @la_casitaolvera in Foothill Ranch today to try some tasty Mexican food. I ordered the shrimp tacos which were loaded up with grilled jumbo shrimp on corn tortillas served with rice & beans on the side. The seasoning on the shrimp & tangy crema made the tacos super flavorful and I will 100% be ordering again. Ben decided to order the arroz con pollo and he really enjoyed the ranchero sauce the chicken was simmered in. The staff is super friendly and helpful at La Casita Olvera and we really enjoyed our meal! There’s plenty of outdoor seating so definitely stop by if you’re in the area 🌮

Just another Taco Tuesday. With no tacos. Just enchiladas and a burrito from @la_casitaolvera. It was our first time and we enjoyed our meal. Their salsa and chips were really yummy... (we may or may not have enjoyed 3 baskets full 🤫), and the service was great.

J ordered the Enchiladas Catalina which included one cheese enchilada with red sauce, one chicken enchilada with roasted tomatillo, and one chicken wnchilada with Mama’s jalapeño cream sauce. Surprisingly, his favorite was the cheese enchilada. I was in the mood for a burrito so Inordered the Carnitas Burrito and it was delicious! A lot more food than I bargained for. Thankfully I had J around to help eat some of it.
