What an honor that this year’s @chicanoelegance Gala took place in my original neck of the woods. It was a night of celebrating our culture, community, art, fashion and so much more. A party of guests consisting of artists, creatives, activists and entrepreneurs dancing and rejoicing under the full moon.
.
Fashion wise community members represented their experiences through personal style and beauty. I was inspired by the rose prints of the late 90s & early 00s that many woman in our community (including my mama) wore. This was my homage to them.
.
Thank you @thrifs_ for all of your hard work and dedication to bring us together to celebrate.
