Spent my morning sorting through stacks of mail that reminded me of how amazing this community is 🩷 Thank you snail mail friends for taking time to send me mail these last couple of months!

Highlights: Summer in SoCal was HOT - beach, pool, and water park days, I finally earned my first @postmark_posse pin, & ohhhh the tacos 🌮

It's a time of perfect weather and terrific cards and stamps in the mailbox. Thanks to @sepatuholig for four installments in our ongoing Wenzel Hollar etching swap. I always enjoy the updates in your messages and the vintage stamps you stick on. Thanks to @akaroxy for two cards, poor Charlie Brown at his mailbox and the great "Ragtime" poster. Thanks to @ronistamps_postcrossing for the "sinister dolphin" 😂 and the exciting stamp prize from your giveaway! Thanks to @serchenya.postcrossing for the beautiful reproduction photo card in an envelope with amazing stamps. Thanks to @xam.rize_postcrosser for the cute dinosaur and postbox card for our illustrated postbox group swap. Thanks to @kyoko.25022 for the wonderful and familiar illustration by Yuko Higuchi.😄 Thanks to @korttihirmun_kommellukset for the lovely card from Finland and fun little stamp collection. It really captures the season! Thanks to @discussing_papers for the breathtaking Bluenose II card. It sounds like you had a wonderful getaway! Thanks to @tbt924 (someone has a birthday coming up!) for the spectacular card from Oaxaca, perfect for my coworker getting married this week!😂 Thanks to @jimlynch9923 for the great street mural photo from Elk Grove, California. Thanks to @cosmicsuesan for the terrific and timely homemade card. I hope the camping was fun! Thanks to @snailmailkatie for the beautiful card from Michigan. I had a good barbecue summer too! Thanks to @kublaiconstance for the Wisconsin State Capitol card and for calling my attention to the badger.😂 And finally, thanks to @LA_gemini23 and @librarychick55 for two fun Barbie cards for our group swap. Oh, and a probably unseen thank you to my German penpal Dani for a spectacular metal card and to a Postcrosser on travel mode for the fantastic castle from Italy! While you can visit these types of places all year long, to me lighthouses and national parks are more a summer thing. Maybe because both are road trip destinations for me and I do more road trips in the summer than the winter.

National Parks hosted by @ronistamps_postcrossing

Lighthouses are a favorite of mine. I love how vibrant this Cabrillo card is.

Another National Parks swap. This one hosted by @maileditohio
