Assalamualaikum!

Today, we’re learning a basic trick — the Manual!

First off, make sure your foot position is correct.
Place your front foot over the bolts, and your back foot on the tail. Make sure your back foot is properly positioned on the tail and isn’t hanging off the edge.

Now, find a soft surface like grass, dirt, a yoga mat, or an old carpet.

Put your weight on the tail, lift the front wheels, and hold your balance. Try not to let the tail drag!

Use your arms to help control your balance. If you’re still struggling, you can start by holding onto a wall.

Once you’re comfortable, try:
Rolling → Push → Manual.

Start slow and hold it for as long as you can. Then gradually add more speed to get a longer manual.

Once you’ve got it down and you can ollie, try:
Ollie → Manual on a low manual pad.

A little wobble? Tail drag? No worries. Try again till you got the manual without tail dragging.

Have fun, keep practicing, and enjoy skating!
