Red carpet moment at North America’s 50 Best Bars in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Striking a pose with @labonitafunk and @amandazonian from @templebarnyc, who I love and respect.

The awards ceremony celebrating bar excellence was truly magical. 💕

Next up from our drink slinging friends, sharing their favourite ways to use Canadian whisky in cocktails, for our Eh, B, C’s of Canadian Whisky Certification Course workshops.

Samantha Casuga @labonitafunk is the Head Bartender at newly reinvented @templebarnyc in New York City.

Having spent her formative bartending years in Canada, Samantha made the move stateside in 2017 where she spent the next few years at the highly accoladed Irish-American bar The Dead Rabbit, working herself up to Head Bartender.

Like many, Samantha spent the pandemic teaching online cocktail classes, and holding happy hours whilst bringing her big personality out virtually from the comfort of her apartment.

Samantha loves to show the fun side of cocktail making, and never takes herself too seriously behind the bar. In the world of civilians she teaches yoga, loves to play in the snow, and is training to be the ultimate housewife.
