Such a lovely morning of community and creative connection at @thelodge_essex with a wonderful group of women. Amazing things happen when we share skills, knowledge, kindness and empathy. We feel seen and held, empowered and energised.

The morning started with a wood-fired sauna with stunning views of the lake before a blissful chilly swim and repeat. We then gathered under the canopy of the oak tree to enjoy food we had all brought to share.
Shout out to Jess @labontecatering for bringing two utterly delicious giant organic platters that tasted as good as they looked and @catherine_arnold_nutrition for her legendary pakoras with coriander chutney. So many other yummy home-made contributions too.

We then walked over the grass to the beautiful yurt for a sound bath led by @faypottinger which was one of the most relaxing hours I have spent in a long time. My mind is constantly whirring with ideas and it takes a lot to make it switch off completely, but Fay’s session left me blissfully relaxed, in fact I am pretty sure I fell asleep!

What Ffi and Ollie have created at @thelodge_essex through SO much time, creativity and hard, hard graft is so special. Shepherds huts overlooking the lake, campfires, the yurt, the wild swimming pool and outdoor baths all enable you to truly escape the hectic pace of modern life, to reconnect to nature, to others and to yourself.

Thank you so much to all those who shared their time, talents and kindness today. In all honesty, I had a massive to do list and wasn’t going to go, but that’s often the moment when it is even more important to pause and breathe and I so very grateful that I did. 💛🍂

This is Soulshine.

Deep practice. Wide hearts. Down-to-earth community. Practical wisdom. A real, chilled vibe. Amazing food. A sauna. Wild dipping. It kinda has it all.

We leave nourished in heart and body — reminded and inspired to live as soul. Not just on Soulshine days, but every day.

Most people join us regularly, but there are always a few drop-in spaces at each gathering. If you’d like to experience the Soulshine bubble for yourself, we’d love to have you.

Last Soulshine Saturdays of the year:
📅 12th September
📅 10th October
📅 14th November

DM me to enquire or book your space.

Deepen your practice. Nourish your being. Expand your community. Soulshine your life.

Huge thanks to @thelodge_essex , @labontecatering and @travel.injoy.with.natalie for helping make every Soulshine so special — and to all our beautiful Soulshiners. Thank you for this blessing. 💛
