Happy 50th birthday My Love!!!
How the fuck are you 50??? 😆

I think about the 26 years we’ve been on this journey together and I’m grateful to have you by my side. We’ve experienced a lot of really amazing stuff… and supported each other through some gnarly shit.

I’m so proud of you for pursuing the things you love… and taking a step into a whole new career at 50 when so many people would tell you you’re crazy. Your willingness to keep changing and evolving is one of the many reasons I love you.

Will you please let your grey hair grow out now so I don’t look like the old dude with a wifey half his age? 😆🧡😆🧡

I’m not going to say that I couldn’t love you more because each year we prove that wrong… Happy Birthday Baby Doll 🙌🧡 @laboucher1

In 2022 we decided it was time to look for our next place to call home. We wanted to be close to water and further up into the PNW.

An intuitive urge brought us to Olympia for a visit during the annual Harbor Days (pic 1).

We fell deeply in love with this town within the first hours of our visit.

We moved here summer of 2023 and Olympia still lights up our hearts 🙌

Michelle and I feel so at home here, we’ve both thrived on so many levels, and despite what is often referred to as the “Seattle Freeze”, we have found friendship and some of the most supportive community we could imagine.

We missed our annual photo in 2025 but made sure we picked up the tradition this year ✌️

Cheers to life on the shores of the Salish Sea

Here is a special artpiece I gifted to Michelle after our Duet Art Show in January.

The story of this artpiece is -

As I created, I truly hated it (along the way and finally). I felt rushed in its’ process, unconfident, and finally, I cracked the glass while soldering the the morning of gallery installation.

I felt doubtful displaying this art because of its’ imperfection. Thankfully, Art Curator @artist_kellisparlett and Partner in Crime @fox_heart_art convinced me to display it anyway. So....... We did.

4 months later, (now), I am able to feel so much gratitude for this art piece and have grown the bravery to share it here, online. The artwork speaks to me.

It Reminds me of The Universal Doubts of The Artist.

And challenges me to continue creating. Even amongst (maybe even with) the self-loathing, self-doubt, and impatience.

Additional Notes: The Buddha reminds me of Laos. It reminds me of my childhood at the temple. The warmth of Lao food, and my family.

The design is a yak sha (temple guardian) khon mask (masks used in classical Thai dance stage dramas). They are selling fast. The festival will be at @apcc96 on June 6th. It's a celebration of Thai culture, art, food, and music. This festival holds a very special place in my heart. If you're interested in a shirt, DM ME. I'll put you in contact with Manee. I have a core group of friends that fill my soul cup.

We laugh til we cry, can’t breathe, or piss ourselves.

We let our weird out. And it’s accepted. Actually it’s encouraged 🤣

It took me decades to find these women who I can be myself around without guilt/shame/comparison.

There’s nothing better than soul friends.

You can read every book on transformation. Take every course on alignment. Understand the psychology of your patterns.

Waaaay back in 2/22/2020 we released our 1st wine! 2018 Dry Riesling.
The rest, they say is history.
Also, a pandemic, a fire, now a global slump in the wine industry. AND YET! Here we are. Still slingin.
Futures so bright…we gotta wear shades.
