2025, as seen from my husband’s POV 🩵 I had no idea he was making this, but I love it.
He’s been here through every cloud, every rainbow, and continues on the journey with me in the good, bad, and everything in-between. It was a challenging year of health and many realizations, but I am incredibly grateful for every kind person and place encountered, and happy to have made it to another year in the life.
.
Attaching words here that capture pretty much everything I want to say, echoed from our dear friend @laboy_raysor
.
“ In 2025 a lot was revealed to me. I also noticed a lot of people doing what they wanted more than what one would say is correct. As 2026 approaches I am going to continue to take care of my mind, body, and spirit (as I should). I seek no revenge, I hold no hatred, I waste no space on resentment. I forgive all, I forget nothing, and I’m focused on being love. Being love doesn’t mean I’m sweet and affectionate to everyone. Being love means I will live through the actions that define love (I.e. acceptance, honesty, accountability, growth, patience, kindness, understanding, etc.). Being love doesn’t mean everyone can have and enjoy me. Being love means I go where I feel invited and stay where I feel welcome; that also means I will continue to speak when I’m comfortable and talk to whom listens to understand. Love is to be patient and love is to be kind; but love is to no longer be wasted…nor is my time. A vow to myself. I welcome you 2026 🎉 and I thank you 2025.” - Lawrence Raysor
.
Ciao, 2025. Here’s to hoping for 2026. Onward and upward 💪
