Two days in Berlin, immersed in the story of Billie Holiday. Wow, I had so much fun editing this! ❤️ I was so happy to capture moments from this play, especially because I’ve always felt a deep connection to Billie Holiday and admired her throughout my life.

We were recovering from the gloriousness of the last two days and then suddenly… this happened.

Loving this 80s trend — especially when you actually lived it.

We had the shoulder pads. We had the perms… well, not Lynne, with that stunning head of hair, obviously! But there were other fashion joys!

Love you, Ms. Lynne. Happy to be dancing with you.

Can’t wait for the next one…

Funny how life works. I happened on a play one day, fell deeply in love and knew… this, this is the one… and then…

One introduction to Fagner Wesley led to a whole circle of extraordinary artists – ergo the hottest jazz musicians in town.

On Wednesday, four foreign artists met in a Vienna apartment to take photos, laugh… and talk Wienerisch.

An incredibly lucky day. We’ve shared a journey deeply rooted in a moving jazz play about an absolute icon, woven together with personal history, travel, and an enormous amount of talent.

Missing from this lovely photo is the phenomenal Lynne Ann Williams, you were in our hearts and minds. A shout out to Jonathan & Dave Moskin for his invaluable support too.

It also makes me think of Billie Holiday touring with Artie Shaw and his band. They dealt with a huge hurdle that was racism. Still there was and still is something special about artists from different walks of life finding each other through music, theatre and a shared passion. I know that’s how I feel.

Thanks for the collaboration, and many more adventures together. ❤️🎶
