shooting all the photos on film has been an aesthetic trademark of the label since the start and have always trusted @bodegafilmlab w/ developing & scanning the shots. a wealth of them gracing the pages of publications both near and far and some becoming official LP artwork.

they’ve saved my skin on multiple occasions w/ speedy turnaround times, blessed hookups, and let me come in before open to buy film.

the label would not be the same without them and forever appreciate the team’s work on every roll i bring in, no matter how surreal, multi-exposed, crusty the film might be.

some of my fav promo / live pics of the bands playing the 5 year Michi Tapes anniversary showcase at @thunderbirdmusichall 10/29 thurs: @ginag0ry / @lace.boys / @tonyfrombowling / @silver.carcrash

Urgent Omnidirectional Mission Alert: @spiritpgh Summer Recess arrives Saturday, stardate 08.29.26.

An extraordinary celestial alignment has begun. A megaharmonic nexus will emerge. Psychonautic bioforms and riffozoic operatives are converging.

The mothership awaits the beacon to deploy macrotonal waveforms saturated with subatomic superfuzz, quantum-engineered to transform the experience of cellular sentience into a cascade of ultrasensory transcendence. The flight crew has one critical objective: Activate the stargate for Frankie and the Witch Fingers to rupture Pittsburgh’s summer night sky.

The magnitude of neurosonic amplitude emitted by this assemblage of astral voyagers cannot be quantified; the allied enclave of Summer Recess will perforate the boundaries of cosmic experimentation.
