The question Ryan and I get most these days is, “How do you like Boise?” The city is beautiful, but the honest answer is that it’s been hard. We left an incredible community behind in Coeur d’Alene, and every time we’re “home,” the chaos, laughter, energy, and overwhelming love remind me just how special that community is. We’ve only been here six months, long enough for the newness to wear off, but not long enough to build those deep roots yet. This experience has reminded me that community isn’t something to take for granted. It’s built one coffee date, hike, workout class, lunch, and conversation at a time. Those connections aren’t just nice to have, they’re part of what makes life meaningful. So here’s your Tuesday reminder: reach out to a friend. Make the plans. Build the community. And to my North Idaho people THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of my village. We miss you more than you know. Just sharing a few photos of my community today because I miss you all. 🤍

Melinda and Wesley’s wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and an epic dance floor. They celebrated their wedding at the Hagadone Event Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, surrounded by their favorite people. Melinda and Wesley are some of the kindest people and it was evident by how many people traveled up to North Idaho, to celebrate with them. The weather was absolutely perfect and it gave us the most cinematic breeze. A saxophonist played over the DJ and the whole group brought an energy that lasted well into the afternoon-party. Here’s a glimpse into their incredible day 🕊️ Couple: @melindakinder_ @wesleykinder Wedding planner: @sisteredstatesevents Venue: @cdaresortweddings Photographer: @merissadphoto Videographer: @fergusonfilms Florist: @pearlandtin Ceremony Strings: @kleinmannstrings Content Creator: @contentbycoral | Coral + Abigail DJ: @staysharp_events Draping: @swishandcoevents Hair: @_jesshatch.hair Rentals/Decor: @patinaevents Table top Rentals: @tabledujour.rentals Rentals/Decor: @pineandpoppyrentals Makeup: @earthly.beauty.bar @laceofface Cake: @so_suzyq Staging: Design Event Inc.
