💜 Jacaranda season! 💜
I love this time of year- the purple reminds me of coloured popcorn 🤪 and makes every suburban street look extra beautiful. Even an ordinary building on a grey overcast day, becomes extraordinary draped in a carpet of purple 😍

This is where I plan to spend my Summer. ♡

We've had a hell of a few weeks. I'd completely lost my sh*t and I looked at Dion and said, we need out. Let's drive. We loaded the kids into the car, chucked in what we could find, forgot half the essentials 😅 the shade tent, her togs, the kids rashies? but we just needed to get our feet in the ocean. In the sand.

Thank goodness we did ♡
The boys spent the entire time in the ocean. I followed my little turbo baby all across the beach as she had to say hello to every new face, and pat every dog. 🥹 it slowed my mind down enough to just be. It was like an oxygen mask.

I'm trying to live inside being grateful for everything we have, for our marriage, our beautiful children, a home. But the financial weight, not having a day off in close to two months, non stop working evenings and into the early mornings, school cant from one child, catching up on years of asd burnout with the other two, and the piles of bills I can't pay. I feel as though I'm being crushed under the weight. All I want to do is sink into the afternoons and enjoy my beautiful family. They are my greatest joy.

My goal for this year was to free myself from having to hustle. I don't think I'm going to achieve it. On a good note, I'm very good at the hustle and very good at digging myself out of the sh*t 🫠 But I will keep working on it. A few more weeks of intense grind and then hopefully I will have caught up enough to at least go to bed before midnight.

Anyway, here's my adorable little Auri girl. She dove right into the water arms stretched. No fear. Fully clothed. So much happiness. I sat on the beach kissing her face so I could imprint it into my memory ♡ off i go, another evening of work.
