REIMU 冷萝 WORLD PREMIERE
A modern reimagining of the Japanese folk legend, Snow Woman.
Created by @hibikiproject

It’s an honour to have watched this show grow since its inception three years ago to now, having closed the first staged version of Reimu. I’m incredibly grateful to Chihiro, Kento, and Jayne for inviting me into this role with so much trust and enthusiasm, for having me be a part of the development process, and for creating a telling of this story that is so captivating and thoughtful. This was a true labour of love from such a star-studded team of cast, creative, and production, a group I’m so proud to be a small part of.

A privilege to have spent the last two days singing in this stunning space. The Painted Hall, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is certainly up there as one of the most special venues we have performed in! We loved singing works by Henryk Górecki, John Tavener, Meredith Monk, Arvo Pärt, and Eric Whitacre. Thank you so much @liedownandlisten for inviting us to collaborate with you!

RUNNING TOWARDS - here are all the beautiful friends that made this record possible🙏 my gratitude is endless.

If you don’t already, get into the habit of looking at the credits of anything you listen to - the songwriters, the composers, the producers, the engineers, the instrumental or vocal features, the arrangers, the visual creatives, or anyone who might be a little less visible than the “main“ artist. They matter!!
Scroll through and give all of these folks a follow and go check out the glorious things they’re making ✨

Casey Barth - @_caseydaniel @arches_hlp
Casey is a producer, songwriter and engineer based in Highland Park, Los Angeles. His recordings pair emotional honesty with tactile and expansive soundscapes. Through a grounded, holistic approach to recording, he hosts and collaborates with artists at his studio and creative retreat, Arches Studio & Gardens.

Tess Greenham - @tessgreenham
Tess is a mastering engineer at Clearlight Mastering in Los Angeles. Since 2019, Tess has worked alongside her father and mentor, John Greenham, assisting him on many projects for artists including Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Slayyyter, Tinashe, Nessa Barrett, Girl In Red, Liam Gallagher, and Joe Jonas. Through this work, Tess acquired some of the most important skills a mastering engineer can learn: listening, feeling, understanding. This helped her develop a more sensory, emotion-based approach to mastering, rather than a strictly clinical, numbers-based approach.

Tess’ client list includes artists such as Sure Sure, Déyyess, Trousdale, Rosie Carney, Ashley Singh, Ryn Weaver, Ella Vos, Transviolet, and more. Today John and Tess still work together today at the Clearlight Mastering studio

We're working with IWM @imperialwarmuseums on various projects.

Here's the first: the Childhood In War exhibition that opens today at their Lambeth site in London.

It’s a free, interactive exhibition exploring how children have experienced and adapted to war and conflict from 1914 to the present day, and features recreations of an evacuee train carriage, a Cold War-era kitchen, among many other rooms and displays.

We drew on ‘green plastic soldiers’ for inspiration, while creating a new cast of characters that are both familiar, and a bit jarring, all at the same time.

The exhibition is free and open until 28 February 2027
