Sound × Space × Visual

Bearing nearly a century of history, the former Air Force Headquarters reopened in 2026 as the Kong Zong Cultural Base after years of restoration.
The festival unfolds across different spaces on the campus, bringing together music, interactive lighting, moving images, and silent film accompaniment beneath the autumn sky.

Phantom Field — Audiovisual Live from Taiwan and France Presented as part of the 2026 Wandering Festival, curated by Lacking Sound Festival

Calculation is how we measure the world‘s edges. In audiovisual performance those edges keep moving: the projection has a defined frame, but sound crosses the screen and settles into walls, air, and bodies. The Chinese title plays on a familiar internet puzzle — here what needs measuring is not the shaded area but the area sound and image occupy together.

Lacking Sound Festival presents three works:

。NACHT II by Franck Vigroux, Loïc Varanguien de Villepin, and Antoine Schmitt
。WHEREISCHAPPIE (LIU Tung-Yu), GAO HUANG
。WANG Lien-Cheng, Liquid Structure
