We are excited to highlight one of our newest partnerships with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to bring healthy foods to our community members!

The Food Access Investing in Resilience (FAIR) program is an initiative of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s Nutrition and Physical Activity Program, supported by a $9 million investment from the County of Los Angeles Justice, Care and Opportunities Department Care First Community Investment Care Grant Program.

At our FAIR program, we’re connecting justice-impacted individuals and families with fresh produce, food access resources, and wraparound services that support long-term stability and community resilience. Through June 2027, every third Thursday is an opportunity to nourish, connect, and empower.

Together, we’re investing in food justice and a healthier future for all! 💚🍎

🦷 What should oral health care look like for people with HIV?

The Los Angeles County Commission on HIV is inviting the public to comment on its draft **Oral Health Service Standards** from **October 20 through November 1, 2026**.

The standards describe the minimum care expectations for Ryan White funded providers. As you review the draft, we’d especially like to hear from consumers, providers, and community partners:

• Are the standards reasonable and achievable for providers?
• Do they meet consumers’ needs? What’s working, and what could be better?
• Is anything missing?

📩 Send comments to **HIVCOMM@LACHIV.ORG** by **November 1**.

Read the draft through the link in our bio or visit **hiv.lacounty.gov/standards-and-best-practices-committee/**.

Did a Pico Rivera deputy gang railroad a Maersk IT professional? Where’s Jodi Hutak? Who assigned Araceli Hernandez to Pico Station?

You can be the sheriff that did, or the sheriff that did nothing.

I do not recommend this company
The Hitchman Fiduciaries, specifically Anneliese and Bruce Hitchman. The court appointed them as co-administrators of my uncles estate for which i am a beneficiary. I objected to their appointment due to the bad reviews I had read about their company.

There is a lien filed in our estate by Thomas Morgan against Bruce Hitchman for nearly 7 million dollars. This means any money Bruce makes off of our estate goes to pay part of this lein.

These people have done their best to increase their billable hours at the detriment of our estate.

Moulton vs Paul is a RICO lawsuit where the Hitchman Fiduciaries are being sued due to their actions in a trust estate.

Thomas Morgan won his suit against the Hitchman Fiduciaries in their actions in the Beverly Morgan case.

This company has a pattern of breach of fiduciary duty and has caused great Irreparable damage in my uncles estate.

Their actions led to the illegal demolition of my grandparents 1922 craftsman house purchased in 1940.

❤️ Today, October 15, we recognize National Latinx HIV/AIDS Awareness Day! ❤️

Our Latine communities are rich in culture, resilience, and strength. But when it comes to HIV, too many of our neighbors continue to face barriers to prevention, testing, care, and treatment.

Here in Los Angeles County, we know that language, stigma, immigration concerns, access to affordable healthcare, and culturally responsive services can make a real difference in whether someone feels comfortable seeking care.

HIV doesn't discriminate, and access to care shouldn't either.

Today is a reminder that HIV awareness is more than knowing your status. It's about creating spaces where folx feel seen, heard, respected, and supported, without judgment.

❤️ Get tested. Know your status.

💊 Learn about PrEP, PEP, and HIV treatment.

🤝 Support one another and help break down stigma.

🗣️ Make room for community voices in decisions that affect their health.

At the Los Angeles County Commission on HIV, we're committed to making sure our diverse Latine communities have a voice in shaping HIV prevention, care, and treatment services across our County.

Our health. Our voices. Our communities. Nuestra salud importa. ❤️
