Dear @ashaweb and @ashfoundationcsd …

It’s taken a few days to process how amazing last week was. Thank you for…

✨The opportunities to make joyful memories celebrating the heroines and heros in my life.
✨The opportunities to learn and grow as a professional from some truly fabulous courses.
✨The opportunities to sit with friends/sisters of my soul and shed heartache and heartfelt tears over the fears, worries, celebrations, and magical moments that make this life worth living as a child of God, a mother, a lover, a wife, a sister, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law.

#asha2023 Thank you for all of this and so much more.
See y’all next year in #visitseattle for #asha2024 y’all!

When have you ever gotten up early for a workout and regretted it afterward? Something to ponder the next time you want to hit the snooze button.

@lactation.and.language: "How to read to your baby might look a little different than you may think 🤔
📕 First, have them face you. They get to see your mouth, facial expressions, and the book all at once.
📕 Try not to focus on the words or story if baby doesn’t seem interested. Label the pictures instead if they have a hard time focusing.
📕 Have them turn the page and interact.
📕 Use repetitive books and begin to leave out words to see if they’ll fill in the blank - even with any sound.
📕 Use books that engage multiple senses - make noise, they can touch different textures, colorful, etc."
