@lesions_graves
Lésions Graves are rooted in Black Metal and have developed a style that draws on hypnotic repetitive patterns borrowed from Minimal Music combined with the intensity of rock.

As a Sextet, Lésions Graves will perform their newest endeavour, a composition by Julius Eastman, re-arranged for guitars and drums. Composed according to Eastman’s „organic principle,“ this music unfolds through gradual transformation of recurring musical material. Its sketch-like score invites extensive interpretation, creating an intense, open-ended experience for performers and listeners alike.

Julius Eastman (1940–1990) was an African-American composer who fused minimalism with political provocation, challenging the conventions of white classical music. His works foregrounded themes of racism and homophobia, while blending minimalism with free jazz, gospel, and No Wave.

silent green presents

@ladr.ache
ladr ache, a six-piece collective hailing from Brussels (Belgium), combining polyphonic singing with hypnotic rhythms, is one of a kind and a hidden treasure in the leftfield of experimental music. This is music that immerses in raw punk energy, where pounding drums clash with buzzing drones, mechanical pulses, amplified objets and serial chanting.

Live, they create a borderless soundscape where the intimate merges with the collective, where machines seem to breathe, and silences carry as much weight as saturated textures. An unstable ritual gradually takes shape: fragile, visceral, and deeply inhabited.

BEEK marks four years of existence with a celebration of noise, rhythm and sonic experimentation.

ladr ache is a six-piece collective from Brussels that combines polyphonic singing with hypnotic rhythms and raw punk energy, where pounding drums clash with buzzing drones, mechanical pulses, amplified objets and serial chanting. Live, the band crafts a borderless soundscape where the intimate merges with the collective, where machines seem to breathe, and silences carry as much weight as saturated textures.

Ilia Gorovitz is a Berlin-based drummer and composer exploring electroacoustic experimentation through complex rhythms and distorted textures. Active in Berlin’s underground scene since 2019, he performs with projects including PΞB, Stumpf and Genu Porcodio, and co-runs the Edelfaul record label. In his live setup, the drum kit serves as both an acoustic instrument and a controller, shaping electronic sounds that, in turn, respond to his playing.

Container is the electronic solo project of American-born London-based musician Ren Schofield. Combining his background in noise-rock and tape music with techno and rhythmic electronics, his sound is characterised by propulsive beats and liberal doses of distortion. Container has always danced the absurd space between serious and stupid.

12V5 is a recycled weird experimental music and light show using 12-volt motors, light bulbs, a Casio synthesiser, modular gear, and wooden and metallic objects. Improvised live, its abstract automatons clink, bong and chrounk, while shadows float around sharpened table corners and melancholic tunes sneak through jolting, perilous depths.

DJ Nerf opens the night, mixing weird and groovy records from outer space.

[K133] - KRAAK - Ladr ache - éclats Z
* very limited edition

GRANULAR POLYPHONIES SHOOTING THROUGH LIKE BOLTS

For over ten years, Brussels-originals ladr ache have dipped their toes and vocal chords in all matter of musical mischief as only they know how. With éclats z, their latest recorded offering, new canons arise that belong to no place or genre. Between the layers of chant, other voices turn up in old tongues and secret languages, gliding alongside pipes and electronic warps, pulsing in time with the granularity of choice. Recorded over two years in different times and spaces, the living textures that emerge are sonic libations as much as modern lullabies, inhabiting zones of ancient passages and timeless exploration. LP out soon on Kraak

LADR ACHE (BEL) + SACRED HARP BREMEN
+++ Doors: 19:30 +++

LADR ACHE
Sawtooth slang on baroque scales,
ladr ache is a polyphonic montage of 6 voices rooted in heretic drones and
city beats, saturated cobblestones and oscillating circles.
From Belgium they are bringing their polyphonic vocals, drone soundscapes and electric troves.
Somewhere between jazz, folk and musique concrete they explore a broad variety of associative connections.
Don’t miss this out on this if you are a fan of: Steve Reich, Colin Stetson, The Slits, J.S. Bach or just any kind of polyphonic vocals.

SACRED HARP BREMEN
Sacred harp singing is not meant for concerts. Born out of the spiritual solemnity of the southern U.S. in the 18th century, sacred harp singing is a polyphonic praise singing with the help of so called „shape notes“. In Bunker they come together for a public meeting.

A gem from the French-speaking underground.

Gout music. Described by John Doran from @thequietus as “a Northern Working Men’s Club Ween”. Described by a young man at the Windmill urinals as “like a pisstake version of a Windmill band”.
