Adopt two of the stars from @25catsfromqatar!🤩

Meet Astrid & Cargo, affectionately known as the "stowaways" from the documentary @25catsfromqatar. These bonded siblings are looking for a forever home—together.

Originally adopted as tiny kittens, they were recently returned when their adopter developed allergies. It was a tough transition, and they were understandably scared at first—but thanks to foster care, they’ve truly thrived.

Their mom, @lady.fromqatar, was rescued during filming and gave birth shortly after arriving in Milwaukee—so yes, this pair has been on quite the journey, both literally and emotionally.✈️🌎🐈‍⬛

Astrid & Cargo are now nearly two years old. They’re playful, low-maintenance, and full of personality. While still cautious around unfamiliar men, they warm up with time and trust (shout-out to Steve, Cole, and all our amazing male visitors for helping build that trust!).

If you’re ready to give these two movie stars the loving home they deserve, please complete a Scholarship Adoption Application. Once approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet at their foster home.

They’ve come such a long way—and they’re ready for their happy ending. Bonus: you’ll be adopting real-life film stars! 🎬

If you missed our first screening of our centerpiece film 25 Cats From Qatar, don't worry, we have a second screening... today at 4 PM!
When Katy McHugh, owner of Milwaukee’s Sip and Purr Cat Café, learns of the feral cat crisis in Doha, Qatar, she creates a brave and unsanctioned plan to fly 25 cats from Doha back to Wisconsin for adoption. From MFF alum Mye Hoang (CAT DADDIES, MFF22), this film offers a heartwarming, urgent look at strangers overcoming barriers to save lives, highlighting the global struggle for animal welfare.
