POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
As game one of the World Series looms near, I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel hella weird not to watch Dodger baseball this past week. And while I’m heartbroken at the way our season ended, I’m so grateful I made the last minute decision to spend 48 hours in my hometown to celebrate a 14th consecutive post season run with folks who bleed blue (and not those stinky Giants fans!).

No, we won’t get to see our boys make their three peat bid, but I did get to go to an NLDS game with my oldest friend in the world, saw Reggie Smith throw out the ceremonial first pitch to JDP, (finally) ate a Dodger dog for the first time all season, got to see a Muncy homer (after missing one in Sac cuz I was in the bathroom 😭🤣), watched Diaz roll up to the mound with the sickest walkout in all of MLB, ate tacos at Rigo’s for old times sake (literally nothing inside that building has changed since the 90s), had some brewskis and watched a game one W with my WLA people, and capped it off with brunch and bloodies with my bestie.

I also had the unique opportunity to go to 5 away games this year, surrounded by dodgers fans in NorCal, and I’m honored to be a road girlie now in this new chapter of life.

I’ll be rooting for the Brewers to win it all this year, while also continuing to (quite unsuccessfully) become the kinda girl whose entire mental health does not hinge on a 40 man roster I have never met 😇💙⚾️

Eight years at Sony, and this one feels different.

Congratulations to my colleagues across the U.S. and overseas for this gigantic success, and to our filmmakers for making a great movie. If you couldn’t escape this campaign, just know we had half the team we’ve had on past SM films.

And to everyone who bought a ticket, shared our work, or made it an event with their friends & family, thank you!

Our mission at Sony is simple: preserve theatrical. This weekend reminded me why it’s worth fighting for.

Great times with great friends at the @bmi Awards last night ✨

Always feeling so inspired to be surrounded by so many talented artists, composers, and creatives within our community. So grateful to be part of the BMI fam and to celebrate a beautiful night of music together 🎶🎥🎬

Some glimmers from December and those waning days of 2025. I got to see so many of my favorite people, hug them, laugh with them, cry with them—and really, what else is there in this ephemeral life?

Ending the calendar year was strange because yes, 2025 was spicy. The economy is in shambles and democracy is a farce and I lost my mom. It was a tough year in many ways, both collectively and personally, but it was also the first full calendar year I spent as a NorCal girlie, and it was the year I met the love of my life. A Lost & Found year, and one that will forever remain significant in my little world.

It’s the 8th day of the new year as I write this and no, I will not be hitting the ground running in January—I will continue to hibernate, beginning the year with a yawn. I will keep living my soft, slow, sloth life, even as we descend into late stage extractive capitalism, fueled by the dystopian fascist nightmare that is unfolding all around us. I will keep believing a better world is possible. I will keep doing my part to make it so.

I hope you will too 🍻💫

January is almost over and since I have no concept of time and I have fully embraced a sloth 🦥 mentality and a snail’s 🐌 pace here are some snapshots from December which was a weird month in a string of rather weird months, to be honest. I spent the first half of December completely isolated in the woods with my feline familiar, publishing my 6th book and processing some resurfaced trauma because wow the body really does keep the score doesn’t it? The second half of the month I bounced from place to place in the City of Angels, spent a lot of time with my sister without getting into a single fight which is an absolute miracle, got to cuddle my niece and change her diapers too because loving a baby also means meeting their needs, played backgammon with Isaac at Stoner Park and Zankou Chicken and Tuk Tuk Thai and really anywhere we could find seats and a table, perfected my michelada recipe, celebrated Steven’s 18th consecutive 29th birthday where the girls beat the boys in Taboo by 30 points, got to see my friend Tyler’s masterpiece of a film @losfrikis.movie and finally, by the grace of the weightlifting gods, reinvigorated my love for fitness after a year of frustrating starts and stops. I had some tough times and some fun times and some debaucherous times and as always I am grateful for more time, however soft or sticky, on this spinning rock in infinite space 💫

I spent almost 3 weeks back in LA and all I got was this stupid sunset photo JUST KIDDING I also got to spend a ton of quality time with my sweet baby angel niece who is CRAWLING 😭 and CLAPPING 😭 and she is just so perfect in every way. I got to lift with my besties at @westlaathletics weightlifting club and attend our annual Halloween party as a Dodger Dog, I got to watch the dodgers win the World Series in my home town instead of in NorCal with a bunch of stinky Giants fans and then—by sheer luck—attend the celebration at Dodger Stadium, I got to celebrate @fitzmunoz 40th and I’m just so happy he exists, I got to hang out with so many cutie baby dog friends including Jean Val Jean, I got to have popcorn and wine for dinner many nights in a row and share popcorn salad recipes with @justineszendzielorz, I got to watch a majestic sunset in my favorite spot on the beach where I have cried so many times, and I even got to see my own flesh and blood baby boy for a few hours while he was in town visiting his gf.

I hardly took any photos and I stayed longer than I meant to and when I finally left I knew in my bones that moving away was the right decision. I will always love LA and I will be back again and again to visit but I’m happy to back in the trees where I belong 🌲
