Fasten your seatbelts, we’re taking off! ✈️
ㅤ
Warning: This flight is packed with bold colors, smart humor and incredibly crafty creativity!
ㅤ
Philadelphia’s The Bearded Ladies Cabaret @beardedladiescabaret have opened PRIORITY HOARDING: A RETROSPECTACLE, and you won’t find a better example of how to give old things a second life.
ㅤ
Every room makes you feel something different. Some feel like a full-blown psychotherapy festival. Others are pure absurdity. Some are filled with breathtaking, intricately crafted objects, while others turn into a game with yourself. And sometimes you simply stand there, mesmerized by the beauty of it all.
ㅤ
The most touching part? Seeing everything we collected along our journey transformed into a final installation — a little secret version of ourselves.
ㅤ
By the end, we wanted to hug everyone who created this.
ㅤ
Because this is the kind of art that expands your mind, opens your heart, and reminds you how extraordinary human imagination can be.
ㅤ
And yes, there’s even a bar where the main character of the party is waiting to serve you a drink!
ㅤ
Wonderfully strange, beautiful, and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Last night I got to experience RUN BEN RUN in all its glory.

It's been such a joy working with Applied Mechanics to promote this wonderfully weird, wildly creative production. Getting to see all that hard work come to life was an absolute treat!

HUGE congratulations to the incredible cast and creative team!

Cast and creators:
Rebecca Wright (Ben Franklin/Director), Izzy Sazak (Ben Affleck), MK Tuomanen (Ben Lay), Brett Ashley Robinson (Ben Vereen), Chris Davis (Benedict Arnold), and Anthony Martinez-Briggs (Ben Ocasio/Bad Bunny).

Production team:
Alani Sky Rose (Stage Manager), Michael Lambui (Production Manager), Sasha Jin Schwartz (Scenic Design), Maria Shaplin (Lighting Design), Elizabeth Atkinson (Sound Design), Nikki Delhomme (Costume Design), Michael Long (Projection Design), Clare Wislar (Props Design), and Andrew Beal (Line Producer/Front of House).

And a special shoutout to Philadelphia Scenic Works for bringing this incredible world to life!

So proud to play a small part in sharing this work with Philadelphia. ❤️

RUN BEN RUN continues at Christ Church Neighborhood House through October 18. Don't miss it!

MWAHAHAHA. It’s finally happening. 😈

*Murdered Darlings* is THIS WEEKEND, and we are officially out of time to reconsider our decision to resurrect nine years of cut scenes, abandoned characters and questionable theatrical choices.

One performance. One séance. Absolutely no putting them back once they’re out.

🪦 Saturday, September 26 at 7 PM
📍 Deep End Studios
🎭 Philadelphia Fringe Festival
🍸 Free drinks + free parking

Come see what we dug up.

Deleted scenes. Music. Comedy. Horror. Dead characters, resurrected. And FREE DRINKS.

MURDERED DARLINGS digs up characters, scenes and ideas we killed off over the years and gives them one last night among the living.

This is the first, last and ONLY performance. Once they’re dead this time, they’re staying dead.

Saturday, September 26 at 7 PM
Deep End Studios
Part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival

Come raise a glass to the dearly departed. 🥂💀

An Evening at Christ Church Preservation Trust!
We enjoyed a presentation of Benjamin Rush from Stephen Fried followed by a reception in Neighborhood House with wine and ice cream made from Thomas Jefferson's recipe! 🍦

All to support this historic Philadelphia and national landmark.
