I just opened up registration for my last workshop of the year! 📸 Get ready for a wonderfully packed two-day photo and video workshop here at my homestead in Washington along the Columbia River Gorge. It takes place October 3rd and 4th, (which I’m VERY excited about because fall is my favorite time of year here! 🎃🍁) Early bird pricing is only open until June 3rd! 📅 You can see the schedule and details by commenting LEARN, or at www.evakosmasflores.com/autumn-2-day-workshop, OR by my link in profile! 😅 There will be **tons** of beautiful subjects to shoot, indoors and out, seasonal lunches made from my garden, business discussions, and a creative hands-on eco-printing session with the incredibly talented textile artist @maggie_pate. And we’ll end each day by the fireplace with hot tea and a creative chat 🙌🫖 I can’t wait to see you there!!! 📸 Photos from my workshops here last year and autumn in the gorge, eco print pics by @maggie_pate 🌼 #learnfoodphotography #foodphotographyworkshop #photography workshop #learnvideo

Good morning, Baker County! There’s something special about opening the freezer and knowing exactly where your beef came from. Our Old Souls Farm Highland beef shares are raised the way we believe food should be raised: on pasture, on grass, with careful stewardship of the land and respect for the animals. The result is beef with consistently rich, delicious flavor that our customers come back for again and again. Whether you’re stocking the freezer for your family or simply want a dependable source of local beef -- a beef share is one of the best ways to enjoy premium Highland beef year-round. Grass-fed. Responsibly raised. Consistently delicious. Stop by the market or send us a message to learn more about available beef shares. Photo credit: @ladygriffood

As we pass through the Winter Solstice and begin to welcome back the light, I'm reminded to share the images I took at @evakosmasflores Cozy Winter Workshop earlier this month. Shooting with only natural light—in the PNW during a huge incoming storm system—was WAY out of my comfort zone. But Eva made it feel whimsical, playful, and achievable. Here are a few from our "human element" assignment, plus some BTS, which I decided to take with emphasis on silhouette and shadow. If you've ever toyed with attending one of her workshops, I highly recommend doing it. More coming soon!

A few peeks at the Winter Workshop I hosted this past weekend here at my homestead ❄️🎄 Saying I had a lot of fun would be a massive understatement—@andrea_kyselova @marina.delio @seaman_shoots @thehungrydragonfly @ladygrifffood were brimming with creativity + great questions, and the warm and open atmosphere made everything extra cozy and fun. I’m sending out an email soon with save-the-date details about my next workshop (abroad! 😆) and you can join the waitlist via the link in my profile + at www.evakosmasflores.com/join-the-mailing-list From fireside business chats, absurd amounts of baked goods, and lots of lovely photos and videos, it was a weekend that filled me with inspiration, comfort, and holiday cheer 🥹💚 HUGE thanks to @ladygrifffood for helping with all the behind-the-scene magic, and SO much love and thanks to @thehungrydragonfly @seaman_shoots @marina.delio @andrea_kyselova @ladygrifffood for joining me on this wintery adventure! ⛷️ #photographyworkshop #creativeretreat #learnphotography #learnfoodphotography #foodphotography

My camera roll after a long weekend in the forest 🌲 📷 Nourishing food photography workshop with @evakosmasflores and new wonderful creative friends at Eva’s dreamy homestead on the Columbia River Gorge (just an hour from Portland). We were spoiled with the most delicious food made by @ladygriffood - from bright salads to hearty bison butternut squash chili to gluten free chocolate cookies. 🏠 I stayed in the coziest cabin in the woods where I didn’t see a single other human, but did see a few deer. I can’t recommend a quiet weekend in nature at @backwoodscabins enough. 💦 The Columbia River Gorge is home to the Waterfall Corrodor, a historic route lined with massive waterfalls. I did three of the hikes on my way in from Portland Airport: Latourelle Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Multnomah Falls. Have you been to Oregon or Washington? They are such beautiful states. 🌲 #foodphotography #foodphotographer #wherewomencreate #creativeworkshops #foodblogger #oregon #washington #wintervibes #feedfeed #slowliving #cozyvibes #pinterest #pinterestaesthetıc
