Still, black and white feels the closest to my lane. A shame that I’m shooting with a half-frame camera though — even at ISO 12,500, this is still as far as I can push it, and the widest aperture my lens can go is only f/3.5.

Last night, I went to one of Copenhagen’s famous jazz bars, La Fontaine 🎷

It was Jazz Jam night, so even though I went by myself, I had such a good time. The music kept shifting, musicians crossing paths, listening to one another.

I love the tightness and spontaneity of jazz. I love that slightly crazy quality it has. One person sounds wild, free-spirited and romantic. Another sounds gentle and melancholic. And then there was a drummer who went absolutely mad on the drums. As an audience member, there’s really only one word for it "Fxcking brilliant".

Some musicians would finish playing the double bass and then simply turn around and start playing the piano.

I really love the idea of a Jazz Jam — it reminds me so much of an Improv Jam in dance. You meet and connect with people you’ve never worked with before, and you learn to listen more gently and openly, to accept the different qualities and styles that each person brings, and to find the most natural way to move and dance with one another.

I love this🔥
