POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Nigeria is full of young people building something.

In communities across the country, young leaders are creating initiatives, solving problems, mobilising people, asking difficult questions and imagining better possibilities.

But when people working in different places come together, something different can happen.

Experiences are exchanged.
Ideas travel.
Relationships are built.
Collaborations begin.

That is part of what the Nigeria Regional Retreat represents.

It is a space for the Global Shapers community across Nigeria to step beyond their individual hubs, learn from one another and explore what becomes possible when local efforts connect.

We may come from different cities and work on different issues, but we are part of a generation shaping the Nigeria we will all live in.

In November, 17 hubs come together in Lagos.

And this is more than a retreat.

It is a moment to connect the people, ideas, and possibilities shaping change across Nigeria. 🇳🇬💙

With Collaboration we make the world a better place 💙

The @abujaglobalshapers in collaboration with @lagosshapers and the incredible leaders at the @nigeriamfa; we hosted The West Africa Youth Futures Roundtable, a precursor to the @waesummit.

We convened over 100 young changemakers across the region to explore how the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) can unlock new pathways for youth-led innovation, trade, and entrepreneurship.

Held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja and streamed to a wider audience across Anglophone and Francophone West Africa, the event spotlighted youth-driven solutions to accelerate inclusive trade and regional integration under AfCFTA.
