🎶 VISITING ARTIST: JOHANNA ROSE & THE DREAMBOAT TRIO 🎶

The LaGrange College Music Program is thrilled to welcome Johanna Rose and the Dreamboat Trio to campus on Tuesday, October 27, for two special events celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the art of making music!

🌟 11 AM | Visiting Artist Masterclass
📍 West Side Recording Studio
Open to the LaGrange College community

🎤 6 PM | Visiting Artist Concert
📍 Beason Recital Hall
Open to the public!

Based in New Orleans, Johanna Rose is a singer, songwriter, upright bassist, and street performer whose sound lives somewhere between the stars and the gutter. Smoky, sultry, and delightfully unpredictable, her music blends jazz tradition with a fearless spirit, balancing beauty and grit in equal measure.

From vocals that can cut or soothe to bass lines that pulse with life, Rose brings a distinctive musical voice that pushes boundaries and defies expectations. It’s jazz with a crooked grin—and you won’t want to miss it.

Join us for an inspiring day of live music, artistic exploration, and a unique opportunity to experience Johanna Rose and the Dreamboat Trio right here at LaGrange College!

🎵 Two events. One unforgettable day. See you there!

From move-in morning to Callaway beach day, our newest Panthers didn’t just show up — they made their mark. S’mores and line dancing. Coffee and crafts. A downtown scavenger hunt through the city that’s about to feel like home. Fair on the Hill, a silent disco, and enough new friendships to fill a residence hall.

New faces. New chapter. Same feeling: you belong here. ⬆️

Welcome home, Class of 2030. This is only the start.

Day one has a soundtrack. 🎧🐾 We asked students, "What's your hype song for today?" — and these are the tracks that got them moving on the first morning back. Drop yours in the comments and let's build the ultimate LC first-day playlist. 🎶
