FIX YOUR LAGREE FORM: Reverse Giant Soul Train *New Name: Moving Reverse Giant Soul Train Oblique Twist* As a Senior Master Trainer for Lagree I can ensure you that form is everything so this weekly series was created to help you go back to the basics before you choose fancy. Let’s help break down the move - Sit towards the back edge of the carriage so you get the proper ROM - Spine is neutral - The primary oblique is the same side of the foot anchored under the strap, but both are working - Twist to the bent knee - Slowing it down helps with the control, coordination and form Hopefully these tips will help you improve your form so you feel it in the right way and control the Tempo and ROM so you just may get excited next time you hear the instructor cue Moving reverse giant soul train oblique twist (😂) in class 😉 What move do you want to see the fix for next? #lagree #lagreeinstructor #lagreeform #lagreefitness #lagreesoultrain

THIS EXERCISE CHANGED THE WAY MY LEGS LOOK. 🔥 One of the biggest changes I’ve noticed since incorporating the Lagree Method into my training is the shape and definition of my legs! And if there’s one area I particularly love targeting, it’s my inner thighs! Standing Inner Thighs on the Lagree Microformer is an incredible exercise for strengthening your adductors while challenging your balance, core stability, and muscular endurance. The secret? Lagree is all about moving slowly! The slower and more controlled your movements, the more time your muscles spend under tension. And that’s where the magic happens! COACHING TIPS FOR BETTER FORM: ✔️ Stand tall. Keep your torso upright, shoulders relaxed, and core engaged throughout the movement. ✔️ Soften your knees. Maintain a slight bend in both knees with your weight evenly distributed through both feet. ✔️ Slow it down! Move the carriage slowly and deliberately in both directions, focusing on engaging your inner thighs throughout the entire movement. ✔️ Maintain constant tension. Keep a little space between the carriage and platform as you return, maintaining muscular engagement from start to finish. ✔️ Keep your hips level. Maintain a stable pelvis and balanced weight distribution as you move the carriage in and out. Want to experience it for yourself? Come join me at Studio 33, Home of LagreeX Westfield! I’d love to introduce you to the Lagree Method and show you what makes it so special! ❤️ SAVE THIS FOR YOUR NEXT LAGREE WORKOUT! 🔥 #Lagree #LagreeFitness #InnerThighs

✨Never become so comfortable being the teacher that you forget the value of being the student. Taking class isn’t just about getting a workout in. It’s about staying connected to the method, understanding what your clients experience, and continuing to grow as an instructor. Feel the shakes. Experience the transitions. Take the modifications. Learn from other instructors. And let your clients see you doing it, too! Because the best instructors don’t just teach Lagree. They LIVE it. ✨Take the class. Feel the work. Practice what you preach. And remember what it’s like to be on the other side of the mic. *Of course, this applies to those physically able to participate. Injuries, health conditions, or limitations don’t define your ability to be an incredible instructor.* #lagree #lagreefitness #lagreeinstructor #fitnessinstructor #foreverastudent

Official Lagree Move of the Week: Reverse Pendulum Push Up with Side Plank I’m obsessed with the Pendulum push ups and also obsessed with the new Evo Pros seen here at @holdfitstudio and they were the perfect machine to showcase this on! It will take some coordination for the client and even more explanation for the instructor to cue it. I recommend cueing this one step by step by step until they get it. 🔥Resistance: 1-2 light springs 🔥Level: Advanced 🔥Duration: Starts at a minute 🔥Form/Alignment: Start in a Reverse Knee Hand Plank with hands anchored shoulder distance on the lifted carriage panel and knees anchored against lifted platform panel. Ensure spine remains neutral in the blue line. 🔥Movement: Begin to bend the arms to lower body down into a tricep push up bringing the chest to the carriage. Slide the carriage away as you press up at the same time, pausing when elbows are under shoulders. Open up to a reverse side plank, hold. Rotate to the opposite reverse side plank and then return back into the Reverse Knee Hand Plank. Repeat. 🔥Pairing: Reverse Night Hawk, Reverse Twisted Inchworm, Reverse Twisted Push Ups 🔥Tempo: You must go slow, starting at a 4 count but aiming for a 8-10 count! 🔥Mods: Go slower to advance the movement or bring hands further out. To find more support add another light spring and bring hand closer to the edge of the carriage. Thoughts?! What move do you want to see me feature on a Monday?! Waitlisted? No problem. Get a Micro Pro and you won’t have to worry about it 🤙🏽 @lagreeingathome flows are a different kind of self-accountability during Lagree workouts. Testing out some new routine ideas. Putting myself through it to find the areas that can be improved. Always a student in this evolving modality method that is Lagree. @alohatoonces knows… as a coach, I won’t ask of my clients what I’m not able to do myself as a practitioner. Meaning, every workout should be given 100% effort - even if that 100% is different from yesterday’s 100%. If you give it everything you got, that’s what matters. Leave knowing you left it all on the table.

Lagree Form Fix: Reverse Spoon As a Senior Master Trainer for Lagree I can ensure you that form is everything so this weekly series was created to help you go back to the basics before you choose fancy. The Spoon is a deep core-focused exercise that emphasizes engagement of the transverse abdominis to lift the hips up and back while maintaining a neutral spine. Here are some key pointers: - Maintain a neutral spine… no flexion in the spine (aka don’t round the back) - Keep the shoulders stable, neck long, and gaze directed down…. cue to look towards TOES not hips when lifting - Remember to return hips under shoulders, not thrusting the hips forward - Remember the shoulders are stabilizing, avoid using the shoulders to lift the hips, but rather initiate the movement from the core - Avoid Momentum, the ROM is not what’s important here, it’s about the slow controlled movement - Micro Bend in elbows, thumbs up grip to protect wrists as well Hopefully these tips will help you improve your form and movement so you feel it in the right way and control the Tempo and ROM so you just may get excited next time you hear the instructor cue Reverse Spoon in class 😉 What move do you want to see the fix for next? #lagreefitness #lagreeinstructor #megaformer #lagree #lagreeform

Official Lagree Move of the Week: Bear Shoulder Tap Moving This move is just as amazing as this outfit from @fabletics #fableticspartner This movement requires a lot of stability so I would recommend 2 light springs to introduce it and start with your feet in a wider base. Great way to really target the full body! 🔥Resistance: at least one light spring 🔥Level: Advanced 🔥Duration: Starts at a minute 🔥Form/Alignment: Start in a Bear Hold with hands anchored on the lifted front platform panel (or ring of fire) and feet anchored against lifted carriage panel. Ensure spine remains neutral the whole time. 🔥Movement: As you begin to extend the carriage out you bring one hand up to tap the opposite shoulder. as the knees are returning back under the hips, the hand is anchoring back down on the platform. Repeat by alternating shoulder tap sides. Hips are remaining silent in line with the shoulders. Micro bend in elbows. 🔥Pairing: Bear Shoulder Tap Static, Bear Wheelbarrow, Bear Press Static or Moving 🔥Tempo: You must go slow, starting at a 4 count but aiming for a 8-10 count! 🔥Mods: Go slower to advance the movement or bring hands and feet closer together to find more support.
