Let’s take a quick stroll through Kenny’s Lahinch Art Gallery, nestled in the heart of Lahinch, County Clare.
What You’ll See
Irish Art at its Finest: The gallery showcases a vibrant and eclectic mix of works by over 40 Irish artists, many inspired by the wild beauty of the west coast.
Solo & Group Exhibitions: From Padraig McCaul’s evocative landscapes to David Coyne’s colorful interpretations of Ireland, there’s always something fresh on display.
Sculptures & Prints: Not just paintings—expect textured sculptures and limited edition prints that capture the soul of the region.
🏛️ A Bit of History
Founded in 1972 by Carmel Kenny, the gallery began as a passion project within Kenny’s Woollen Mills. It’s now run by her daughter Rosie Kenny, who continues the legacy of supporting emerging Irish talent

Very proud moment presenting a painting of Lahinch to the Minister Heather Humphrey’s on behalf of the Lahinch Leisure Centre, board of management and the local community .
It’s a great achievement to get to this point where we can stand back and see the fanstastic new leisure facility that can once again service up to 40 local school swimming programmes and provide a state of the art gym facility with the best view in Ireland😁
Lahinch we are leading the way in providing a centre that has no fossil energy usage. All renewable energy. The money wasted on oil heating can now be invested into the staff and services provided.
As part of rural development
Lahinch leisure centre is a credit to all the local and national levels and private donations coming together all through Covid and kept going to the end. Credit to Jada builders, Tipperary energy, Clare county council project team and everyone involved.
Minister Heather Humphrey’s kindly officiated in opening the Lahinch Leisure centre and delighted to see what has been achieved, the provision of a community based development to rural area such as North Clare.
Let’s enjoy the summmer and then we will get going on phase two - redevelopment of the old cinema and aquarium areas. 😁👍.

Rolling waves- I’d say if your a surfer or love looking at the tides this time of year.
It’s not too cold to take a plunge in the sea or walk on the beach. Seeing the power of nature in the waves is fantastic.
This painting is part of new art collection by Henry Morgan. Original art, Atlantic coast seascape
