long post alert

i honestly can’t believe how fast time is going. we bought a house in pennsylvania in april… and closing is mid june. this past month has flew! where is the time going? I’m super duper excited to be back w my old friends i left back in 9th to finish senior year with them. bring back old memories, more happiness, a new beginning. I know i’ve made the right choice to move back up… it’s my happy place, my comfort… MY HOME.
but most importantly i not ready to leave my siblings, my mom, all the friends i’ve made this year. half of them don’t know i’m leaving and i don’t have the heart to tell them yet. there are some so so so amazing people i’ve become close w and i will never ever forget them! what i’m scared for is a silent house… no siblings to talk to when i just need a little company. the birthdays i’ll
miss, small holidays. this is a huge change for me that I AM ready for just can’t show it yet. i have so many emotions right now. i’m sad, happy, scared, excited, and anxious for what’s ahead. but i’ve got this, i know i am going to make the best of this, i’ve got great friends and families i know i can go to if anything ever comes up. i appreciate all the support i’ve gotten ❤️

☆ Staff Spotlight ☆
Meet Landon Porteous! @laidback_landon

Landon is a junior, and this is his first year on our team! He’s serving this year on staff as a photographer. Landon has lots of photography experience and spends his time outside of yearbook taking photos at car shows.

Landon enjoys yearbook because he’s able to “experience every aspect of our school” and be a part of things here that he normally wouldn’t.

We celebrated the end of the first quarter with a bit of fun outside!
Here are some tips for starting the new quarter right:

☆ Evaluate last quarter. How much effort did you put in? What are some areas you struggled in?

☆ Keep your notes! Make sure to write down what you’ve learned and keep it on hand for when exams roll around.

☆ Get organized! Check out your backpack and get rid of/organize any loose papers you may have weighing you down.

☆ Make goals! You may not have reached a grade level you wanted to, but semester grades count for both quarters, so set some goals for your grades this quarter and figure out how you can best reach them!

Yearbooks are available now at yearbookordercenter.com with the code 17641. Link in bio!
