True friends don’t just show up when it’s convenient…they PULL UP…WHEREVER…WHENEVER 🇫🇷! When PURPOSE called me across the world…my Day 1’s made travel plans! Whether it’s down the street or all the way to Paris, my Real Crew is gonna say, “Sak…Send the addy or the itinerary.” 🇫🇷✨ I’m kind of afraid of flying ✈️…but being FEARLESS…means that when you are scared…you muster up the courage & DO IT ANYWAY!! So, I never let my fear of flying Stop me from seeing the world 🌎! Thus, I am truly Grateful for the kind of friends who celebrate my calling, support my journey, and remind me on thee regular that no destination is too far…when love is the reason ❤️! They each LOVE Fashion too…REAL BAD!!! #MyDay1s😘 #PullUpFriends #ParisBound🇫🇷 #PurposeAndPeople #LoyaltyLooksLikeThis

👩🏽‍🎨🇫🇷🚊💃🏽 unbeknownst to us.. we hopped on what in my opinion is the most magical scenic train route in Paris. There’s a stretch of the ride on metro 6 where it suddenly feels like you’re seeing a part of Paris on a cinematic movie screen. It crosses the Seine River glides past beautiful architecture, terraces, rooftops and passersby on the streets and then, between Bir-Hakeim and Passy, surprisingly the most magnificent and exquisite views appears. I literally (not screamed but squealed loudly) “LOOK… THE EIFFEL TOWER)!!! So Nice We Went Back Twice.. once on day one of arrival and the other on the evening of our departure. Dear Diary.. I Danced Like No One was watching On The Streets with My Sisters. Signing Off As Eternally Smitten . A Slow Saturday Share Bonjour 💋✌🏾🥖 Backpackin Bohemian “I’ve seen the Eiffel, I’ve seen an eyeful” HOV 4:44🎶

⚜️•⚜️•⚜️•⚜️ Pulling Up to Parsons Paris was Part of Our Everyday Practice. Scooping Up Sakina from the School after the Completion of Her Workday So That We Could Run Around The City and Play!!! You See She Took Her Students To Study Fashion For The Summer Abroad.. In My Humble Opinion That Deserves a Round Of Applause!!! On This Day We Thoroughly Enjoyed The Gianni Versace Retrospective. An Immersive Journey through his Life’s Work & Fashion History. Held Hands with My Sista While We Strutted Through The Louvre Courtyard and Of Course we Posed In Front of The Pyramid, Typical Things That Tourists Do..Duh!! We Lingered a Little Longer Stirring Cappuccinos Street-side. One of My Favorite Things About This City is The Cafe’s Outdoor Seating with The Chairs Facing The Streets. Perfect for People Watching… Turns Out People Were Watching Me Too. I Smiled For a Few Flicks For The Sweetest Lady Who Asked For My Permission To Take Pictures. 🏢🧼👘🎒🧥🚊🔐❤️ The Big Trunk Shaped Silver & Gold Building On Champs-Élysées Boasts Lovely Louis V Luxury. But Even Better is the Value of the Eight Dollar Locks of Love I Left For My Kids To Find in France. On This Day We Made Our Way Around This Pretty, Gritty Metropolitan City and Did Some Damage During Retail Therapy. We Bought Triple Milled Soap and later Invested in Some Second Time Around Vintage Finds. I Scored a Cool Old School Orange Bucket Hat and Purple Dress Fit For a 1980’s Prom. Sakina and Drie Purchased Some Leather Shorts Amongst Other Things and We All Invested In The Most Delicate & Intricate Kimono’s! Later Laila and I Both Bought a French Designers Trench Coats. We Turned Our Plastic Shopping Bags Into Backpack Totes Then Navigated Rush Hour On The Metro. We visited the charming bohemian village of Montmartre. Here was once the home to amazing artists such as Vincent van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso! We climbed Paris’s highest hill.. 522 stairs to reach the base of the basilica and overlook the entirety of the city. We left the aforementioned locks on the fence for some of our loved ones. Mine were written out in memory of our late mothers and kids. When they visit here hopefully they’ll find the 🩶🗝️I left with their names on it. Drie got to pet the most friendly Golden Retriever Doggy, “Harlem of Paris”really does exist and I ate a whole Margherita Pizza All By Myself! “Not From Paris Madame”🚶‍♂️ But Damn Did We Comfortably Make It Ours During This Grand Getaway ! BTW-Took a random video of a fly father & daughter duo. (see slide 3). Unbeknownst to me it was @macklemore until today when his Paris video popped up on my timeline.

XOQ PS - first few secs from Saturday.. last few = my 2025 point of view.. “I like originality. I combine fashion and philosophy. Fashion, to me, is an art form. For it to make sense, it has to have a philosophy behind what you’re doing. Otherwise, it’s just trendy.” - Patricia Field
