Join me again in welcoming our second and equally amazing assistant coach Lainey!!

Lainey was raised in Suamico, WI and began dancing at 2.5 years old at the YMCA. She continued for the next 16 years. First at Shirley Van’s Dance Studio where she earned a spot with The Green Bay Dance Company appearing in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Frozen, The Wizard of Oz and many more.

Moving on and settling at Forever Dance Company, Lainey danced on the Competition team there where she studied and trained in Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, Jazz, kick and Pom.

In High School Lainey danced with the Bay Port Pirates Varsity Dance team all four years of High School. Her dedication, versatility and passion for dance have shaped her into a skilled and accomplished performer.

Throughout her dance career she has had the honor of being trained and choreographed by those such as Nicholas Clement and Trevor Loritz. These interactions have brought her teams several state medals including her most notable achievement in 2022 when the Pirates won a State Championship title in Division 1 Kick.

Lainey has spent the last 3 years in Milwaukee attending the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Now, Lainey is looking to take the next step in her dance journey by transitioning into coaching.

Inspired by the team and mentors who gave so much to her throughout her dance career, she is passionate about giving back to the program that helped her shape who she is today by creating a positive environment where young ladies can grow both on and off the dance floor.

Let’s show Lainey how much love we have for our BPDT alumni and welcome her back to our dance community!
