Definitely have been dreading this post but here it is….
Today I closed out my highschool track career, the out come was not what i had hoped for but i have made tremendous strides this year. Fighting injury, giving up other sports to focus on the one I love more than anything, going on college visits, committing to SHSU, countless hours of vigorous training and lifting, all of it led to today. While it hurts to fall short, I’ve stepped back and realized where I started and where I’ve come, all the memories and friendships I’ve made along the way and the future I’ve paved for myself mean more to me than anything medal. Although today was not as I had hoped and taking that windthorst jersey off for the last time broke something in me, I will be forever thankful and blessed to be apart of something special. To my coaches and teammates, family, and especially my mom thank you for standing beside me through it all, supporting me rain or shine, and picking me up when it felt as though I couldn’t stand on my own.
Goodbye High school track it’s been fun. Onto the next chapter….

Signing my way to greatness…. Ready to start the next chapter at Sam Houston State and more importantly ready to push myself to the limits to be the best athlete I can. It’s been a long road with many hardships and challenges but I couldn’t have done any of it without God, my family, teachers, coaches, and friends. EAT EM UP KATS!! 🧡🤍🧡🤍
